2025.02.02 04:21 StasisApparel Does anyone else store most of their movies out of view? Not due to embarrassment, but so to make the space look more open and less cluttered.
I like physical media, and collect CDs for music and Blu-rays and sometimes DVDs (if BD version is too expensive or doesn't exist) for movies/shows.
I also don't like the sight of clutter (basically anything I can store in a cupboard or cabinet, I will do so as to not visually make the space distracting).
I own a lot of nice clothes but they are always in the closet with the doors closed as to not see them. So same thing with movies, I kind of have them in those storage bins that are are meant to place under a bed, but have them in the storage closet. It is growing so I will likely need a small bookshelf with opaque doors in the future.
So anyone else here intentionally store their movies out of sight?

I genuinely don't know the answer.
If you would like to say "fight back", I'd agree, but in this hypothetical situation there's an alarming percentage of rather rambunctious followers with absolutely no honor or foresight and are willing to follow this leader to the end no matter what he says. Things unfortunately appear to be unstoppable for the time being, and the vast majority of citizens of this hypothetical country are unlikely to protest, revolt, or fight anything until their comfortable lives have been severely impacted.
How should a citizen watching this all unravel prepare himself/herself best? Where should they put their money? What should they stock up on? How should they protect themself? What else should they be aware of or prepare for?

2025.02.02 04:21 Alienboy1110 One of my subs started a channel and now I feel like they are using me to promote his channel.
So I met this guy about 2 months ago and at first he was really cool and kept leaving nice comments but then he left a comment saying he was inspired by me to start a channel with his channel linked in the comments of one of my videos. I took it more as him just letting me know as there was no other way to contact me but he's since started talking to other people in my comments letting them know he has a channel.
He almost never comments on the contents of the videos now and instead it's just self promotion. I've checked out a few of his videos and they are pretty awful so it's a bit embarrassing that he keeps saying he's my friend whilst promoting his own channel.
Most of his videos are up to 10 minutes long but the first 2 minutes of every video is the exact same intro. He claims to be a GTA RP troll like me but he barely even speaks in his videos and just records other people's conversations. It would be like someone going into a coffee shop and recording the table next to them and saying it's a prank. It makes no sense at all.
His thumbnails look like mine but created on Microsoft word or something and the way he formats his titles and descriptions are almost identical to mine.
I'm tempted to unsubscribe to him and remove all his comments but I partially feel bad and also don't want to effect my videos as I was told more interactions the better. He might not know he's doing it and unintentionally being disrespectful and also might have some kind of learning difficulties, he spoke about Autism in one of our conversations but I can't remember if he said he had it or not.
Overall it doesn't really effect me but it's just kind of irritating and I would never do that to someone else. Just wondering where you stand on it?
