Hey guys. I'm a freshman in Highschool from Asia with little opportunities due to the political instability in my country. I wish to study university in USA I might need a scholarship also.
GPA currently (Semester 1) : 3.9 No APs No Academic Award
Extracurriculars: -Badminton (won national award) I'm wondering if this is helpful for college since badminton isn't really a well known sport ??
-Secretary in a club that organises inter-school event
-A member in 2 other clubs

I'm Filipino and I recently had an interest in Malaysian music (I find it funny how our languages sound so similar but the language is incomprehensible). The only artist I really listen to is Noh Salleh (I don't know the general Malaysian consensus on him.. But he has a lot of listeners on Spotify) and a few one-off songs.
I wanna know more about the "culture" about music you guys have? Any staple musicians or songs? Here in the Philippines, we have a genre called "OPM" (Original Pinoy Music) that encompasses all Filipino music. If you guys have heard of any classic OPM songs from the 80's or 90's, anything similar to that would be fun too! Which is a lot of 80's 90's rock and love songs. But anything similar to Noh Salleh would be great too since he reminds me a lot of Filipino sound actually. Or like what I said earlier, what's "staple" in your country.

Hey guys! Its become pretty clear to me recently that buying a house or apartment in a city just isn't very realistic as a single person on an averge-ish salary. My goal is this year to move back out of my family home and buy my own place and due to this I've been starting to look at medium sized towns such as Athlone, Portlaoise, Mullingar and Kilkenny due to the much more reasonable house prices. I've also chosen these towns due to their location and good transport connections.
So yes, if people have any opinions for or against these places, especially people who either live or lived in any of these towns would care to share their thoughts I would really appreciate it or if people feel like I've left any great towns of this list please jump in and suggest!

 | So, DD is testing a new rewards program. Some drivers are saying it's better because it's easier to maintain Platinum status. Is it? Under the pilot program, AR, CR, on-time rate, and customer rating all factor into an overall score, and your tier status is based on that score. Using the current requirements, let's say you have 70% AR, 95% CR, and a customer rating of 4.7. In most markets, that qualifies you for Platinum status. Under the pilot program, if you had those same stats, you'd get a total of 37points. Even if you had a perfect 100% on-time rate (which nobody has), you'd get an additional 30 points, for a total of 67 points, still short of Platinum Let's say you kept your AR at 70%, and your CR at 95%, but you bumped your customer rating to a perfect 5.0, and your on-time rating to a perfect 100%, you'd still be short of Platinum! You'd still have to increase your AR above 70% and your CR above 95%, which is harder than it is now. How is this better? I have a 5.0 customer rating now, but it generally hovers around 4.95. I have an on-time rating of 93%, but it hasn't changed in years, so I don't know what my real on-time rate is. But using those numbers (4.95 and 93%), that would give me a total of about 30 points. In order to achieve Platinum, I'd have to get another 45 points. I would have to increase my AR above 70% and my CR above 95% to get 45 additional points. I'd have to maintain 89% AR and 96% CR to get 45 points. Again, how is that better?
