TL;DR: Four failed transfers (three fully medicated, one modified natural), including one not sticking, two blighted ovum and one miscarriage. Now preparing for a kitchen sink protocol with autoimmune meds and blood thinners. Looking for: - Stories from others who feel stuck in their IVF journey. - Details of successful kitchen sink protocols. - wondering if I should use donor 1 or donor 2 embryos. - Advice or supplements for fetal growth and overall support.

I’m reaching out to this incredible community because we’re feeling so defeated after four failed transfers, and I’m hoping to hear from others who’ve been through something similar. IVF has been such a rollercoaster, and while I want to stay hopeful, it’s hard not to feel like we’re missing something.
Ended in a blighted ovum at 6 weeks. Transfer #2 (fully medicated, donor #1): Didn’t stick at all. Transfer #3 (fully medicated, donor #2): New donor, but ended with a yolk sac and no fetal pole at 6+3 weeks. Miscarried shortly after. Transfer #4 (modified natural, donor #1): Back to our first donor, but it resulted in another blighted ovum.
We’ve switched clinics and are now working with a new doctor who is recommending a “kitchen sink” protocol for our next attempt. This would include autoimmune meds and blood thinners, which we’ve asked about in the past but were told weren’t necessary due to normal test results.
My questions for you all: 1.Is anyone else going through this kind of journey? It’s so isolating to feel like no matter what you do, it’s not working. 2.Have you tried a kitchen sink protocol? What did your protocol involve? 3.Did the kitchen sink protocol lead to a live birth for you? 4.Do you have any advice, especially about supplements or strategies to support fetal growth? 5. Would you recommend using donor #1 egg (higher quality embryos that both have ended in blighted ovums) or donor two (lower quality embryos but it was the only pregnancy we saw a yolk sac, but she was bleeding right after implantation)

**TL;DR**: Using puts and calls strategically can force Market Makers (MM) to hedge positions, potentially working against their own interests.
The Strategy Breakdown • Market Makers hedge their positions based on Options Delta • Calls = Positive Delta → MM selling = They buy underlying to hedge • Puts = Negative Delta → MM buying = They buy underlying to hedge
**The Core Concept:** I sell Puts to the MM (they pay me), and I use that money to buy Calls. This is regarded because: - You expose yourself to a Delta >1 (lose more than $1 for each $1 GME drops) - MM gets exposed to Delta <-1 (lose more than $1 for each $1 GME rises)
**Interesting Sidenote:** Now I understand why shortselling exemptions exist - without them, MM would be legally required to hedge positions, making them vulnerable to imploding with their own money.
**The Execution Plan:** 1. Sell Jan 16'26 $125 Put (-0.864 Delta) - Nets $9,792 2. Buy 3x Jan 24 '24 $25 Calls (0.933 Delta) - I can actually execute these Calls with the Cash in my Account. So they should hedge it.
Two Possible Scenarios: *Scenario A (Recommended):* If MM hedges: 1. They buy ~86 shares (100 × 0.864) to hedge Long Put 2. Buy 279 shares (3 × 100 × 0.933) to hedge Short Call 3. Results in $28.80 cost basis (I like the stock)
*Scenario B (More Aggressive):* - Use $9,792 from Put to buy 34× Jan 24 '24 $25 Calls - If hedged: MM buys 3,258 shares - Bonus: $235 left for wife's dinner with her boyfriend 😉 - Drawback: I shot my shot, now the premium is gone and my wife will probably stay with the boyfriend. And have to spend $12.5k come Januar on 100 Shares. I like the stock.
Bottom Line: Hedgies r fukt - with their own money. 🚀

2025.01.22 13:46 Dangerous-Ad-8211 I watched 6 4K BluRays in a Row without a problem!
I did break the streak with Horizon, which stuttered and glitched a bit but did not stop and lock up the player. I thought I was on a good run! As the movie didn’t completely stop, I didn’t check it after a good cleaning. This is the longest run I have had without a 4k disc glitching during playback. And I somewhat blame this on me not cleaning Horizon first. It could also be a 3 layer disc which both my Panasonic and Sony players can have trouble with.
