Trying out new deck combo to utilise Omastar. In 5 battles I’ve not been able to bring it into the game. And in 2 of those matches, my final 2 cards contained my 2 Omastars. To happen once is a tragedy, to happen twice is a comedy.

Been waiting for a megathread to pop up to discuss this but I am only now realising a good chunk of fans are only recently getting to playing. I play on the Asia server so I've just finished the main story.
I...am somewhat regretting pulling for Caleb stuff before playing through it. Happy for those of you who are into yandere stuff, you are eating very well. I can sometimes enjoy it myself (here's looking at you Piofiore), but Caleb just hit me all kinds of wrong.
I can't even handle the disconnect of how things ended with how the romance side stuff exists. The first thing I did was got Caleb off my main screen. I wanted to tete-a-tete with Sylus to make myself feel better but because I'd done it with Caleb earlier the timer was still going.
The sheer irony of me posting about consent and tricking people into taking substances today. I spent so many of these chapters screaming at my phone wishing I had the autonomy to be hella more cautious and suspicious than MC was. I wanted to be able to contact Sylus (or any of the others really) to be like 'get me the hell out, burn every airship to the ground while you're at it'. The oppressiveness of Caleb's actions started to make me feel physically ill.
Amidst all that, those poor children. And the man at the start who reminded me of Cyberpsychos in Cyberpunk.
I'm struggling to word myself here so when everyone's all caught up, how are you feeling? Enjoying the large serving of drama? Are there things you noticed that make Caleb's behaviour a bit more tolerable for you? I know there was the suggestion that his hidden mechanical arm might be working a bit like the chips but that didn't help me and I want to like him so bad. I love how diverse Infold has been making everyone.

2025.01.22 11:43 RitaLeviMortaIkombat Black screen after driver first installation on a RX 6700 10gb - no fix worked so far
Hello there, I just purchased a used RX 6700 10gb as an upgrade for light gaming in my old pc. It works just fine until Windows Update installs the drivers. Black screen and never recovers.
I tried:
- Uninstalling any old driver with DDU (I'm coming from a RX 550).
- Installing driver with Adrenalin software - same black screen.
- Clean install Windows 11 (I'm on 10 right now) on a different disk. Same outcome: black screen after windows update.
- Three different HDMI cables (not sure if they're 2.1 or 2.0 or 1.4 because there's nothing written on them).
- My motherboard BIOS is up to date.
- Loading default settings for BIOS.
Now I can only make three guesses:
- My motherboard is not compatible with the GPU itself. Could it be the case? Solution would be expensive because I have to make a whole new build.
- My mobo is not compatible with these drivers. I should start trying old drivers until I find one that works. Given that AMD website only offers previous drivers in the full package with Adrenalin software, It would take a long time just to download them all. But I'll start doing it.
- The HDMI cable is too old and incompatible (it's a 4K Primewire hdmi I bought some 4 or 5 years ago).
I'm currently writing this post using the card without the driver.

Britain's Prince Harry has settled his lawsuit against the U.K. newspaper group owned by media mogul Rupert Murdoch, News Group Newspapers, his lawyer told CBS News.
The 2019 lawsuit brought by Harry, along with a former senior U.K. lawmaker, saw them sue News Group over alleged unlawful activities carried out by both tabloid journalists and private investigators employed by its newspapers, The Sun, and the no-longer-in-circulation News of the World. It is one of a number of lawsuits Harry has brought against newspapers in Britain.
"NGN offers a full and unequivocal apology to the Duke of Sussex for the serious intrusion by The Sun between 1996 and 2011 into his private life, including incidents of unlawful activities carried out by private investigators working for The Sun," a statement was read in court on Wednesday said. The statement also included an apology for the activities of journalists and private investigators working for the News of the World.
"NGN further apologizes to the Duke for the impact on him of the extensive coverage and serious intrusion into his private life as well as the private life of Diana, Princess of Wales, his late mother, in particular during his younger years. We acknowledge and apologize for the distress caused to the Duke, and the damage inflicted on relationships, friendships and family, and have agreed to pay him substantial damages," the statement said.
On Tuesday, Emma Jones, a board member of the advocacy group Hacked Off, which has been working with Harry on his lawsuit, said proceedings had been scheduled to resume that morning, but that both sides had appealed for extra time as the settlement talks were underway.
Jones said a "huge amount of money is going to be passing hands," but she said she did not know the exact amount.
She said Harry also wanted "some sort of admission… that implicates NGN (News Group). An admission, in a way, of what went on," Jones said.
"He doesn't want to just walk away from this with an apology. He wants something tangible that he can say well, you know, 'I at least have this. I proved my point,'" Jones said as negotiations continued Tuesday.
News Group has faced numerous lawsuits over allegations of phone hacking and illegal information gathering, and it has settled more that 1,300 involving politicians and celebrities. It has always denied, however, that the Sun newspaper was involved in any illegal activities, or that senior figures were aware of anything illegal and tried to cover it up.
Harry had previously said he wanted to go to trial to get to the truth, rather than to get a payout, after other claimants settled out of court.
In court documents that emerged in 2023, Prince Harry claimed that his own brother, heir to the British throne Prince William, quietly received "a very large sum of money" in a 2020 phone hacking settlement with Murdoch's U.K. newspaper group.
