Most of this happened about twenty years ago. I purchased the card seen here on eBay, probably around the year 2001. As my interest in vintage cards grew, I decided that I'd focus my future collection on T206 cards. Around 2003, I decided to sell a few cards that had some value, and since this was the only 1948 Bowman I had, I listed it on eBay. It was raw, and in exactly the same shape as when I bought it. I added some generic language that the card was "as is." I have no idea how much the buyer paid, but it wasn't much - somewhere in the $80-100 range.
About two weeks later, I start getting very aggressive messaging from the buyer through eBay's system, telling me that he had sent it to PSA it it came back as "trimmed." He demanded his money back. I told him that I hadn't trimmed it, it had been sitting in a box ever since I bought it, in the same penny sleeve and top loader that I received 2 or 3 years before. His messages got more and more aggressive, so I finally relented, sent him his money back, and he returned the card with supposedly the PSA sticker. This was before the holograms.
I just chalked it up as me getting screwed by the guy who sold it to me. Since it was two years later, I figured he'd accuse me of trimming it if I tried to circle back to him. Even today, I don't see evidence of trimming. The card has the right dimensions. I don't think I've sold anything since then. I'm thinking of submitting this to SGC next month when I plan on sending in some t206s for grading.

2025.01.22 13:52 pablonun Due date automatic deletion when setting start date... why???
I group most of my lists by due date. When I create a task, I set just a due date for when I want to work on that particular task. Once the due date arrives or is in the coming days I then set a start date for time blocking on my calendar, but for some reason setting the start date once the due date is already set automatically deletes the due dates and makes the tasks disappear... I then have to search for the task and add the due date. I swear this is a new thing, I didn't have this issue with my workflow previously.
Any suggestions?

For me,
- To not do 4th year, was an absolute waste of time.
- To not do a STEM degree in college. My maths teacher warned me not to do it as he didn't think I would be cut out for it but I wouldn't listen. I failed so many modules. Never had a clue what was going on.
- Start lifting weights in school, might've helped my confidence.
- Not to drink as much, there's more to life than pints.

Hey all,
I mostly consider myself to be a front-end leaning full-stack developer, but as I play around with backends a bit more, I find myself being drawn to APIs and SDKs.
Reaching to see if anyone works predominantly in this area, if they're on their own or a part of a team, or if they have any suggestions for someone who has an interest in this space and is trying to figure out how to choose a specialization.
On specialization: I've read a few others saying their specialization chose them through experience and/or serendipity.
I am thinking of this early (and tell me if I'm too early) as a way to stand out in the market. I have under a year of experience professionally in development and looking for a company to join and go deep on some problems with.
Haven't had much luck in applying as I think the space right now is just overly saturated. I want to build more and create content if helpful to open up opportunities for myself.
Seeking advice from those who have some insight and opinions.
