Hi all, just a quick question on cookware. I have just noticed our 4 year old (expensive) Circulon pots and pans are all flaking and bubbling, they have probably been leeching toxic chemicals into me and my family’s food for the last couple months very annoyingly. For something that cost so much you would think there would me a minimal risk to health. Rant over now for my question.
Can anyone give us some recommendations for cooking equipment that (ideally) will never do this and won’t risk my family’s health in the long run. I have been looking into stainless steel and perhaps cast iron but really I have got no idea where to begin looking. With these types of cookware I understand I will also have to adapt to new cooking routines. I have seen Hexclad around but have heard a mixed bag of reviews and don’t think I want to waste my money on a new set if I will just end up in the same situation a few years from now.
Anyway, any helpful information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Just as the title suggests
Don’t buy a Heybike. Warranty is about to be up, I’ve been having issues with the bike since I received it last April. I email, I get poor and evasive responses, and most recently have been gaslit about said issues. You can’t even leave phone messages anymore which I find hilarious, you are even less engaged with your customers than you were a year ago. This company will take your money but does not even care if the product works.
The bike has never actually hit 28mph. That has gotten so much worse since purchase that now the bike struggles to hit 25mph (and I even lost weight last year :P). I sent them weeks worth of GPS data and tried to play their game of getting documentation they ask for, all to be told they aren’t going to send a controller or fix the issue. (Still in warranty)
So yeah, it might work, but don’t expect to get any warranty out of them. Best solution? Don’t buy one and support this shady company!

2025.01.22 11:34 Independent-Bar-5302 HAIMS Str Request questions on my claim, possible issues finding my Psych medical record??

Hello Everyone-
I am posting this as I am not sure where else to turn as my VSO has been completely unhelpful or maybe just ignorant of how the process works.
I filed a claim in June 2024- (ITF in April) for a mental health claim due to a misdiagnosis I got while on Active orders for the Army during my AIT @ Ft Gordon , GA.
I will attach the screenshot but this is the second time the VA is opening a HAIMS Str request now and my VSO said that last time they couldn't find my med records from AIT during the last request and opened a new one last week January 14, 2025.
Is there some way to see what is going on? Every VA rep just says anything to get me off the phone, Does me being Army National guard possibly affect my claim?they
I would think my records would be accessible as it was in 2011-2012 and I saw a psych via sick call and was prescribed a controlled substance rx as well...
I am just scared they wont find my records somehow.... my whole claim relies onthese records otherwise im dead in the water...Any insight helps thanks!!

Hello everyone, how is your day going?
I recently got an audio interface and a cheap strat so I could plat without bothering my family. I have my guitar plugged in a Behringer UM2 interface (the cheapest I could find, and it was over a hundred dollars here). I goes trough my DAW (either FL Studio or Reaper) where I run a virtual amp, often Amplitube. The thing is, there is this unbearable crackling sound on the monitoring (a ATH-M20x, plugged directly to the UM2), direct monitoring and exporting the audio on the DAW sounds fine, but monitoring trough any DAW sounds like the audio is turning into sand and crumbling. Tried different DAWs, virtual amps, cables, usb ports, installing new drivers, and nothing works. There is so much time I don't hear clear sound from my guitar, even I feel dirty. If anyone could help me, I would be very happy, guitar gear is very very expensive here in Latin America, so I can't afford another interface. If you can help, know someone, or a forum/subreddit where I can find a solution, that would be wonderfull

I'm in the middle of a playthru and I've been using scrap everything to get rid of stuff when I build my settlements. It has been working fine, but recently I noticed when I've returned to my settlements some things I scrapped when building have now reappeared. It is noticeable because objects I've built are now half buried in rubble. The objects still work properly & the NPCs will still use objects that a half buried, but I'm curious to try to figure out what I may have done to cause this since I've been using this mod for years and this is the first time this has happened. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Settlements involved, that I've noticed so far, are Jamaica Plain and Coastal Cottage. Thanks for your help!

Just a petpeeve because it doesn't influence me all that much, but it annoys me when teachers hit me or my class as a whole with "now you better start worrying about your exams" or "you better start planning your future after high school". Bruh that's literally all I think about. In fact, every second I spend relaxing is a break from my constant stress over my future. Of course I care and I am doing my best, it is my goddamned life, how could I not care?!
Tons of people have this image of young adults that's all partying from dad's money, fucking, loitering and playing games and that's life. Meanwhile tons of us are pretty well-informed about politics, economics, housing prices, etc and constantly think about how will we make it work.
