Even though he knew it would be difficult and unpleasant, he still looked forward to having a heart-to-heart conversation with her. The sentence. I'm looking forward. cannot be interpreted to mean eagerly awaiting, as it would have to be followed by to_. Thus, it can only mean one thing: I am directing my gaze (or view) forward . where forward ... Animals that people are emotionally attached to can be referred to with he or she. As @Ringo says, if the dog has a name, someone is emotionally attached to it. If no emotional attachment exists, it is used. For a family dog that's been part of a family for several years, the family would use he or she to refer to the dog. The point of the comment rather than the literal meaning is they're drowning and he's critiquing films. Drowning is serious as the water insists upon itself, and he's sharing secrets of the heart...about movies that are taken with their own importance. – He said he'd give me a ride, but he never showed up! (The "by" form is occasionally used with objects, but most of the time only makes sense for people.) "Disappointed in" usually indicates a deeper level of disappointment with the nature of somebody or something, or repeated problems with them, and often indicates that the speaker has lost faith in someone's ability to do what's expected of them: So why not use he/she? There's no grammar rule against it, only people's personal judgments about what's right and wrong (absurd,I think) in such cases. Personally, I make my own judgments about this kind of small stuff and don't judge others when they make different judgments. It usually doesn't matter -- except when people say "He's pregnant". I am used to saying "I am in India.". But somewhere I saw it said "I am at Puri (Oriisa)". I would like to know the differences between "in" and "at" in the above two sentences. You do not use "he's something" for "he has something." [Note that according to @Optimal Cynic this is allowed in some parts of the world] Therefore the first two sentences you proposed are correct: He's angry. He's been angry. But the third one is incorrect. You cannot shorten "he has a house" to "he's a house." He just left the room / He has just left the room. She just ironed that shirt. / She has just ironed that shirt. There is no real difference between these two forms. I expect there are some people who prefer one over the other, but both are natural English. He told me that the truncated form pissed had ruined the fine edge of his wise saying. On the other side of the Atlantic, Eric Partridge, Dictionary of Slang and Unconventional English, first edition (1937) reports a very different meaning of piss off: piss off. To depart, esp. to depart quickly : low : late C. 19–20. He doesn't eat meat. He don't eat meat. And remove the contraction: He does not eat meat. He do not eat meat. Now we can see very clearly that the latter is grammatically incorrect. Whether you should use doesn't or don't depends on whether the subject is singular or plural: He doesn't speak French. They don't speak French.

idk if it's a bug on my side or a new update, i contacted support & they told me it's openai policies for free users that manual search disappears when u exceed the allowed limit of gpt-4o usage, but i noticed that free ios users don’t face the same issue & they can still press the search icon even in gpt-4o mini, which is weird. what's even weirder is that the web interface still supports manual search even after reaching the limit on gpt-4o, & there's also a chrome extension for chatgpt search engine with almost unlimited queries like perplexity. the craziest part is that in the android app, even after the search icon disappears, u can still search but u have to ask the model to do it manually. idk what kinda policies these are, they sound dumb to me.
btw, this issue has been happening to me since they announced search is available for everyone. my main account had the same problem, but just by switching my google account, everything went back to normal. i reported it to support, & they told me the problem is on my side & i should change my network, update the app, & do random stuff that had nothing to do with it. when i tried logging out & signing in again but through the web interface instead of google’s built-in suggestions on my phone, the problem got fixed. now i tried the same solutions & nothing works on any of my google accounts.

So I just ended watching Middle Aged Gamer's review on the GHK V3 and VFC V3 AR15s.
It looks like GHK has really stepped up their game and it looks like they're on par with VFC. I know QC is one of their biggest issues, although this mainly seems to be a problem with their AK line.
I've been looking for a good GBBR M4A1 for quite a while and actually I was waiting for VFC to release one, but after watching the review, I tend to lean more towards GHK..
After some research I was able to find A GHK V3 M4A1, but I'm not sure if the build quality as good their other V3 products. For example: they don't seem to be cerakoted.. some websites also say it's a 2023 version. Afair GHK released their V3 series in 2024..
Can anyone tell me if their V3 is on par with the rest of the V3 series? And do you guys recommend the GHK V3 AR?

I'm very new to punch needle, I'm maybe at an intermediate level of hand embroidery, and I'm trying to figure this out. I started with a kit I got on Etsy (that I sorely regretted given the price I paid and quality of materials I was sent), and got better material in the meantime - a Lavor needle and proper monk cloth.
I prefer the loop side of punch needle works, and I know it's possible to mix the stitch and the loops, but I am honestly not figuring out how to make solid black lines in designs. Do you do them first (like the eyes, nose and lips of the cat), or do you fill in the color blocks first?
I ended up choosing the stitch side for this cat design to be the "final" one, because I tried doing the lines with the stitches on the loop side and it looked terrible.
Pictures 1 and 2 are the second work, 3 and 4 are my first (with long loop length because I like the fluffiness of it).
