2025.01.22 13:07 Nina1701 Stars Wars Blu-Ray
Hi everyone, a while back I picked up the prequel and original series Star Wars blu-ray/DVD combo packs. They're legit as I got them from Best Buy. At the time, I didn't have a blu-ray player and was content with the DVD quality.
Anyway, i went to rip the blu-rays recently and not a single one of the 6 disc's work. It's like they're corrupted or damaged or something (although not visibly). I've ripped plenty of blu-rays using this same hardware, so I know it's good. Handbrake and VLC won't play them either.
So am I just out of luck? Is it possibly some sort of weird protection thing? Are the discs just flawed? It seems odd that all 6 discs would be broke in the same way, but that the DVDs would still be working. You'd think if it was a quality issue at least one would work.
I'm at a loss. Any thoughts?

If I as a Vagabond, form a coalition with any faction and proceed to aid them to become allied with them. Do I stay as allied when I opt to remove their warriors instead of damaging my items?
Also, I know that when a faction I am hostile with turns indifferent when I form a coalition with them but can I aid them after to become allied with them?

Been returning back to gms Kronos so I thought I would get back into msm. Played in beta and invested heavily on release for 1 month before quitting because the game play loop on release was really mundane and boring. I’m heavily against spending money on msm so if the gameplay and gearing up is heavily paywalled or resembles interactive servers on the pc, I would like to know as well.
Ideally I would like to invest 30mins a day and preface by saying I dislike the gameplay loop on release so I was hoping to ask if the game is worth returning back in 2025.
1) Has the gameplay loop changed since first month release days or is it still the same dry grind.
2) Are all gameplay content (dungeons, bosses) hard gated behind item levels that can be easily bypassed by paying.
3) Is “gatekeeping” a thing here? Similar to other mmos like Lost Ark?

Hi all,
As the title says, octopus have said my meter can no longer be certified so I need to switch to a smart one to get accurate readings etc.
My question is would this be best for me? Currently I live in a 4 bedroom 2 floor house with me and wife. I’m 5 days in office from 7am to 6:30pm and she’s 3 days in and 2 wfh.
Non gamers and mainly just tv watchers and have heating schedule via hive.
What are people opinions on if I should get it or not?

2025.01.22 13:07 KS-AP1 Anyone playing the Early Access Demo on Radeon RTX 78/7900 XT/X/GE @1440p?
Currently piecing together my PC, & ran out of budget between checks to buy a GPU & build the whole thing…
So now I’m waiting for my next check to hit to buy a GPU, & I’m stuck.
I’m considering the Radeon 7800-7900 series or potentially the 4070 supeti, but I really don’t care enough about ray-tracing (aside from maybe shadows), upscaling, or frame-gen to really justify throwing extra money for the comparable Nvidia offering unless the native frame rate & quality of use/operation is that much better. As aside from TXR2025, I mostly intend to play things like Dirt Rally, ACC/ACE or older racing titles, & single player story games like the Yakuza/Lost Judgement titles.
And certainly I’m not interested in DLSS4.0 enough to try & go for a 50 series…
So I’m wondering if any of you guys have tried the TXR2025 early access demo on a Radeon RTX 78/7900 GPU, & if you’ve had any issues.
