Here's my first tank. Not strictly Walstad, but still low-maintenance and low-tech.
My whole goal was to have a small nature piece in my main room, without much artificial things. But I still wanted the best for the inhabitants, hence the small heater and the close monitoring of it.
Shrimps and snails are in since one month and a half, tank is running since two months and one to two weeks.
A bit of the material (substrate, gravel on top, light...) is present in photos if you wonder.
There are 5 neocaridina shrimps at the moment (7 at the beginning but then had a few that had cladophora and two sadly didn't survive the treatment during quarantine). But you can also see there is a berried mama in there (if you look realllllly closely).
There are also ramshorn snails, more than I can count as they reproduce like crazy (LFS gave me three for free at the beginning... well).
I don't trim the plants (maybe I should but at least the inhabitants can hide and seem to enjoy it). I'm letting it be with minimal water changes (I add a bit every two weeks approximately to counter evaporation).
I feed once a week a bit of shrimp algae food, but that's it. They feed on the plants and algae there already are.
For water, I make tap water with JBL Biotopol rest for a day (so Cl evaporates) and that's it. 12 hours of light a day (excluding natural).
Parameters are stable, ~7 Ph, 18-22°C, nitrites and nitrates low enough, 8 dH for hardiness.
I'd love to get your feedback and potentiel advices you guys could have. I have a second (younger) tank very similar but only with ramshorn snails at the moment (and a whole lot less busy).

I used to dream a lot when I was younger, sometimes even hallucinating my dreams vividly if I woke up in the middle of the night. But around the last two years I stopped dreaming. I have insomnia but I thought not dreaming made me wake up better.
My mind is always pumping out thoughts and ideas, even when I’m trying to sleep. I always pictured it as a computer with a lot of tabs open while popups appear. And not dreaming meant that for at least some hours, my brain wasn’t bombarding me and letting me relax
But, around three months ago, I started dreaming almost every night. The majority of them are what people consider nightmares, having more depressive tones, but I don’t wake up frightened. Im more pissed at the fact that I wake up feeling more tired, because my brain didnt take a break even while sleeping!
The content of dreams tend to be stuff like my parents hating me, being chased and killed, yadayadayada, a bunch of cliche scary movie stuff. I can’t take it seriously!
I have asked my mom if she knows how to make it stop, but she doesn’t have a clue! My psychologist said it means the quality of my sleep is better but that’s the opposite of what I’m experiencing. I haven’t told her of the content of the dreams because I think she wouldve wanted to dig deeper into that and all
Is there a way to stop dreaming?

Just bench Jimmy because that will get him to not intentionally tank while playing and have the young guys play over him like Jaime Jaquez Jr or Highsmith.
Or instead of benching him, just give him DNPs throughout the remainder of this season and just shut him down intentionally. If you do that, then maybe just maybe if you're Miami you can salvage the season that way.
Or you send Jimmy home. Either way all of it sends a strict and strong message and you know how Heat Culture is. Especially you know that Pat Riley and Alonzo Mourning are running that ship and if they want that to be a tight ship again of an organization, then don't cave into Butler.
Then when it's the end of the season and we get to free agency, you either let him walk. Or he takes that player option and you trade him instead in the summer in free agency in a sign and trade.

We were together from me being 18 - 31, houses renovated together, had pets, generally a great life. We loved each others family and friends. In 2021 things had gotten really difficult during the lockdowns he partied a lot and was using a lot of cocaine to the point I would be getting up and out of the house and he would be coming in drunk or high and would be asleep all day on the weekends. This never affected his career luckily. I was no angel and would go out with him occasionally but never to the extent he did. I would also enable his behaviour a lot as I would make sure his hangovers and comedowns weren’t too bad by ensuring all household jobs were done and that he was eating etc. It’s approaching 4 years since our relationship ended and we have both moved on with new partners. I still miss him everyday, we are not in contact unless there is a tragedy with one of the pets and I call to let him know as they were also a part of his life. Is it normal to still want to know he is ok, and that he’s happy? I would live to have a sit down conversation with him but I don’t feel like I can ask that of him as I’m sure he never wants to speak to me again.

I posted in chainsaws and got nothing. Maybe this subreddit can help.
Years ago I modified the muffler on my 192t and didn't adjust the carburetor. It went bad and only just recently replaced the carb. Any tips on how to tune the carb with a modified muffler so the new carb doesn't go bad? I kinda winged it and tuned it so it felt and sounded right when revving it up. It cut through some 10" Honey locust really well. If you ELI5, it would be much appreciated.
