11 Weeks old(F) on thursday. I got her when she was 9 weeks old. I’m not sure what else to do. i’m at a loss. the biting is insane, my husband, daughter & i can barely walk to another room without being attacked. Chews on EVERYTHING. she chewed underneath my $3500 bed. I’m not really mad anymore i was irate but i guess it’s comes with having a puppy. i work overnights so i come home let her out for about an hour to play and then i try to get her back to sleep. i sleep for about 20 minutes until she’s chewing on something else in my room. I have a crate in my room, i’ll put her in with a blanket and a toy but she won’t stop barking so i can’t even keep her in the crate. I would never give her away that hasn’t crossed my mind, but i really need advice on how to stop the chewing on my house and biting my 4 year old. My daughter is terrified of her and i’m on little to no sleep lately even more. I’ve had 9 puppies before when i was growing up but never one that has acted like this. Please i’m desperate for pointer tips and advice to make my already hectic life less hectic.

2025.01.22 14:01 arachnidfairy Is there anyway to be a straight woman and turned on by fantasies with other women?
I weirdly only want it to be a fantasy and nothing more. I feel like if I was actually with another woman I might flake out. Ive been on dates with 2 other women about five years ago, made out with them even and didn't feel a spark.
I even hooked up (on her suggestion) with one of those women and felt nothing. I admittedly wasn't attracted to her and hoped it would grow but we were only on date 2 when we went a bit more beyond just kissing. It was hot to me that she enjoyed my body so much tho. At least she liked it. Me not being into it and just dissociating made me question if I actually like women. I wonder if things would have felt different if I did stuff with a woman I'm actually into. (Some women do turn me on and i hate to admit it)
Im confused cuz I had very meh experiences with men too tho but know Im still into them. Im sadly mainly turned on by abusive men though than normal men. Normal men I get bored of, i know im into men but its weird how my sexuality with men is mainly me seeking adrenaline and fear.
While with women I envision... comfort, sweetness and something more slow paced and intimate. I also feel confused because I want to be straight but every now and then I randomly feel turned on by women. I saw a coworker bend over and I hated to admit it, but I was turned on that whole shift and had to rub one out to get that out of my mind.
I wonder if I am just hypersexual honestly and super warped :/ like as a fantasy I love it, but I wonder if I would genuinely enjoy the reality of it and always get stressed abiut it
I might have sexuality ocd bc I have hopped from label to label. Took a long time to accept I like men but thats because I have had so much experience with them, it became undeniable. With women I just.. have very few experiences. I wish I could stop caring. And just be straight. Itd be easier if my brain wasnt always confusing me with random arousal and curiosities

posting this here & seeking for advice and/or hopefully some motivation.
picture attached are my left thumb and right pinky, which are the only 2 that i'm plucking/biting/peeling off currently and i really wanna stop it.
was always a nail biter since i was a child and progressed through till i was a teenager (about 15 years+-). the term "nail biter" seems to be a little underwhelming. i plucked the cuticles, the skin by the nails, the nail beds, every single thing you can possibly imagine. i've been through all phases as well - infections, nail falling off, excessive bleeding & pus. everything on the damn list.
i cannot remember how all of this started but i do remember i used to pluck the skin till it bleeds when i was stressed out, but did not feel pain at all. in fact when it hurts, it feels better.
i managed to stop the habit for a few years but the it started again about a year or two back. i would sit down for hours using a nail clippetweezer just to destroy my nails for no apparent reason. am well aware this might be due to undiagnosed OCD but i have not seek any professional help.
other times when i'm not alone, i will unconsciously pluck and peel on my nails too.
however, i am indeed extremely embarrassed about how they look. i get very cautious around people and when asked about, i would just shun it off by saying "oh i just pluck my nails haha" but this is not a 'normal' case of plucking. it obviously look like something way more serious than that.
the worst part is not being able to explain why am i doing this to myself, because i don't either. might be due to underlying mental illnesses? i do have depression. not anxiety tho, from what i can tell or observe about myself. but i do know that plucking 'crucial' parts that hurt the most does satisfy me for thag moment when i feel the pain and see the blood. (i'm pretty sure someone out there can understand/relate to what i mean)
from the pictures, you can see how damaged the nail bed is. side view shows that it's raised (tbh even after years of nail biting i still have no idea why this happens).
just trying to seek solutions or help for this whole messy and ugly situation.
another specific question is - am i able to get nail extensions on top of such damaged nails? (in attempt to stop plucking and not to be so self conscious in public anymore)
any help or comments are all appreciated! thank you
