Hello,
I'm trying to help my retired 69 yo mom claim pension credit. We have moved in the UK 6 years ago and have obtain settled status. Going by the online application form, it says you need to claim UK pension first, but since she hasn't worked here except for a few months, that wouldn't be possible. She has a romanian state pension paid once monthly into her UK bank account. Is it possible / likely to be able to claim Pension Credit in this situation? Her pension's really small, below 300 pounds.

Hi all,
I have owned an earlier version of the Nest mesh router for 5+ years and recently bought the Nest Pro 6E with three mesh points to go along with a new 1g service upgrade. With the older router, the Google Home app speed test would report a nice 820mb or so download speed but after switch to the new router, it reports around 345mb.
Weird thing is if I goto an online speed test (speedtest.net) run a test and then watch the realtime metrics, i can see speeds up to 700mb reported from both the Google home app and web speed test.
Did something change about how the Google Home speed test actually reports the results?
I have always viewed it as a test of strictly router -> ethernet -> modem but now i am suspicious it is factoring in some aspect of "I ran the test off this phone" into the equation. I am going to buy a usb-c ethernet adapter so i can plug my laptop directly into the router (and modem) to do some comparisons.
However, I don't actually seem to be hitting a wall here but it's sort of a weird CX to change the expected results or behavior of the Home app speed test. It's sort of the first test that I expect to be a "reliable" test.
