I cannot pronounce my Ls and Rs very well and while this can often be played off as an accent or just typical speech, I cannot pronounce words like ''rally'' at all.
im pretty sure there are mental aptitude tests aswell as fitness tests to determine whether or not someone could join and its the speech impediment im most concerned about as it would make the job alot harder when a much-needed quick response requiring a location or a name is fumbled by me mispronouncing it, but I could spell the words out and its really not that noticeable its only words that start with Ls or Rs

This experience has been an emotional rollercoaster. I joined the federal workforce for its stability, to avoid the fear of layoffs, but now I’m left uncertain about the future of my position. It’s hard to focus on work, especially probationary employees who are filled with anxiety about what tomorrow holds.
The abruptness of this transition feels unfair. We are hardworking individuals, the American people, yet we’re being treated like numbers—threatened and discarded without regard. This is not the stability or security we envisioned in the American dream or in efforts to ‘make America great again.’
I hope this uncertainty ends soon. Canceling tomorrow’s meeting, instead of addressing our valid questions, is a disservice. We deserve clarity, transparency, and respect.

I stopped, but I realized I was on a "keep clear" marking. After checking the traffic on my right (which was stopped due to a red light), I signaled left and took the first exit. The examiner said I failed because my actions confused the traffic behind me and suggested I could have stopped on the "keep clear" marking. However, I've heard from instructors that stopping on a "keep clear" is an automatic fail. Which advice is correct in this situation?  | Recently changed the thermostat in my house (NE USA) from a Honeywell to Ecobee 3 lite. I am getting alerts daily that AUX heat is running more than 3 hours / day. It has been brutally cold recently, frequently below 30 degrees the entire day (3 degrees F as I’m writing this). Aux is set to turn on at 35. Is there a way to check that I wired this properly and AUX is just running this much because of how cold it has been?
