Why are notification number badges not showing for all apps?

I'm using a OnePlus Nord CE4 with OxygenOS 15, and I’ve set the notification badge style to "Number" instead of "Dot." However, I noticed that the number badges are only appearing for some apps, while for others, they don’t show up at all.
Is there a fix for this?

Is anyone in this situation? My doctor prescribed 5mg of methylphenidate to me because I have low energy and motivation, specially doing chores on my home (my house is a mess)
I'm taking other antidepressant medication and they work, so I don't know if this is a good idea.
