Hi, folks!
Disclaimer: Not a roofer. I'm looking for opinions from roofers, especially someone familiar with solar, or the particulars of solar installs.
I have a year-old roof, shingled in OC Duration Flex. I'm looking to have solar put on the roof. I've gotten a few quotes. One of them went into the details of their install.
They are pitching this IronRidge Halo UltraGrip (HUG) mounting system. It's basically a metal foot with some duper goo under it, seals to the shingles, and the lag bolt goes through. Manufacturer claims they're approved by CertainTeed, and that it carries a 25 year warranty.
I personally find it a little odd, as I wonder how well it would hold up over time to changes in temperature, and if this bonding goo could fail. If it fails, water then would get under it, onto the lag, and further down. I feel like a more a traditional flashed system like IronRidge FlashFoot 2 is the most logical, because it conforms to my general ideas of water run-off and exposure.
So, does anyone have experience with it? Any opinions, input?

 | The Trix is well, "the Trix", they always come back, so they on their own. Lord Darkar is master of Ancestral witches. He's shadow phoenix, can corrupt Avalon and even Bloom with dragonflame. Ancestral witches can possesses anyone, they created power-hunger Valtor who possessed same power as Bloom. Valtor is extremely powerful, manipulator and deception. But I don't think he's stronger than Lord Darkar and Ancestral witches. It's hard to rank Valtor, Politea and Mandragora but I believe Valtor slightly powerful due to him having dragon flame. Politea is nymph, has fought ancestral witches alongside Daphne,until she betrayed her. I wish we get to see her more of her. It took Winx's sirenix convergence spells + Pearl of the Deep to defeat her. Politea is extremely powerful, she mope floor with the Winx and Omnia, Musa's special sirenix spells are useless against her. Mandragora is underrated villain, she's weaker than Politea cause she was defeated by Winx's Enchantix combined, later stabbed by Sky and killed by Bloom alone meanwhile Politea solo Winx fairies with their Sirenix form. Wizard of Black circle is good strong but not powerful as others on higher rank. Tritannus, I'm being generous with him here, without toxic he's weakest villain. But we never saw him fight on land, probably his biggest weakness. Dark Avalon is creation of Lord Darkar. Selina, her Legendrium stole Winx's sirenix powers, make Bloomix and Mythix run for their money. Dark Bloom mope floor with the Winx girls, but she's on her basic fairy form. Kalshara & Brafilius is clownery, but Kalshara took down Bloomix fairy form 😂. Acheron is wasted potential, rip off Valtor and wizard of Black circle combined. How long did it take for you to fully recover? I got it in October and I’m still in trenches of exhaustion and soreness. I had fevers and was off work for 2 months. I could take any tricks of beating this when also dealing with chronic illness.

Does anyone else have issues with this bolt working itself loose over time? It connects the FEL control arm to the hydraulics. I bought a brand new L2502HST about a year ago (50 hours) and this thing has come loose three times already. One of those times it stripped the threads, so I had to get a new one for $80.
