I didn't finish the original. I didn't know English at the time, I was lost and didn't know what to do. This remake however has Portuguese subtitles, so I was able to play it without any problems.
I loved the atmosphere, sounds, exploration, puzzles, boss fights, etc. I liked it so much that I got all the trophies. Really the best game of its kind I've played in years. No cheap jump scares.
But the story was so sad that whenever I look at the game's cover on my shelf I feel a little bad (aside from the really poor cover art) remembering the events of the game. Sure, every time you open the game there's a warning about its themes, but still...
It's weird because I actually had fun playing it. Does anyone else feel this way about the game?
If only the dog ending was canon...

2025.01.22 15:42 Greedy-Bat8436 Stranger in the Snow…I was helped last night by an actual angel at least in my eyes!!
I do random acts of kindness all the time and I can count on one hand how many times it’s been returned. Honestly I don’t do it for any reason other than making someone’s life a little better even if only for a minute. Last night I was trying to go to the store to grab a couple cases of water (and wine) because it was supposed to snow where I live. The Walmart is three miles from my house and right when I was about to turn on the road my car said overheating and my engine locked up and the car shut off. My boyfriend and I were sitting there trying to push the car into the Walmart parking lot. Three different people at first asked were we okay and when we said no they still drove off even after stopping to ask it’s like they just wanted to know if we needed help and not actually help. Finally someone stopped and helped us push the car and then he asked if we were going to Walmart because he had to run in and at least inside we could get warm. When we got inside Walmart I realized this man was walking with a cane but it didn’t stop him from offering to help strangers trying to push a car through snow. He then took us home…. In all the excitement and talking about cooking I forgot my wallet in his car… Also this was the one day of the year when my children’s ss cards and mine were in my wallet because I had just gotten my taxes done earlier in the day. When I got home and realized that I had left it in his car I cried for a little while but then thought maybe before I cancel all my cards I should wait to see if he brings it back. Got a knock on my door this morning and it was David the knight in shining armor from the night before with my wallet saying that Otho is I might need it cause it looks important. I cried again and thanked him profusely. My life has been really hard since November and I had lost faith in a lot and had been feeling like the world was against me. Thank you David so much for helping me and for restoring my faith in people!!!

I am looking for a new all mountain ski to add to my Rossignol SL race skis, that were also my older competition skis. I used to race, but now want a ski thats more laid back and can do a little bit of park skiing (no jib, mostly jump), also it should do decent in powder. I am 180cm (5'9''), 80kg and would consider myself a very good skier.
I have narrowed it down to the K2 Reckoner (179cm) which I could get cheap with bindings for 350 usd (converted from swiss francs) and the Salomon QST 92 (176cm or 184cm) for a bit more at around 480 usd.
How much of an upgrade would the Salomon QST really be? Or will I be statisfied with the K2? Also are there any other good, rather budget options around?

I have a filter, for me to enter the City so I can filter by city. Sometimes, the city isn't exact so I was wondering if it was possible to show nearby cities? Within a specific range.
If this isn't possible, then perhaps I need to figure a way to show everything within the State.

*disclaimer: I know no one in this group can diagnose me. I have a doctors appt in two weeks to go over all of this.
So I have hyper pots/Dysautonomia. I was diagnosed early 2022. I’ve had ups and downs with this illness and periods that have been better or worse. Over the years my food intolerances have grown tremendously. Foods I could eat in 2022 I can barely have now without getting gastro symptoms, reflux, palpitations, pressure/discomfort or nausea. I’m on diltiazem so my heart rate unless I’m having a big flare stays pretty normal but when I’m standing I feel more fatigued and in pain and I get headaches sometimes. I’ve noticed lately my joints and muscles hurt and spasm more. I get more nerve pain and zaps too. I also feel like I’m having a really hard time retaining electrolytes. 1 serving of high electrolytes mixed in 16.9 oz regular bottle of water will have me nauseas and having to continuously pee like 4-5 times from one bottle.
These are just in addition to the symptoms I already have like blood pooling, non raised non itchy occasional dashing on chest and abdomen, facial flushing, burning skin, adrenaline dumps, palpitations, headaches, lightheadedness, vertigo, brain fog, ear ringing, ibs, kidney stones, painful ovulation and periods, shortness of breath, shakiness, chest pains, sensitivity to loud noises and certain lights, temperature disregulation, burning red hot hands or purplish pink freezing hands, tingling/mild loss of feeling sometimes, pain, fatigue, and probably more.
In the past I was tested for chrons and celiac. Both negative but I had elevated Ana markers. I think I’m going to be getting tested for other autoimmune diseases and MCAS
I know a lot of this is pots but does anyone have autoimmune disorder or MCAS and this sounds like what they have?
