This works great, except that in my poms I specify that the maven-compiler-plugin should use JDK 1.6, and when I import, IDEA informs me that the Language Level Changed and that Language level changes will take effect on project reload, and then prompts to reload the project. This is annoying because I always use the same JDK version. Here is the official answer of IntelliJ IDEA 2018.3 Help. I tried and It worked. To build a JAR file from a module; On the main menu, choose Build | Build Artifact. From the drop-down list, select the desired artifact of the type JAR. The list shows all the artifacts configured for the current project. After all, you may use Trial or EAP versions of CLion, or buy the product if it is your work horse. And as far as I can see right now in my 1 year old Community version of Idea, syntax highlighting just works, and you may easily edit, say most of your competitive or educational tasks and compile from command line, that's quite enough for many cases. Try to Re-Import the project from the Maven Projects panel in IntelliJ IDEA. It should download and configure all the dependencies defined in your pom.xml automatically. If download doesn't work from IDEA for some reason, try mvn install from the command line and see if the dependencies can be fetched. When you use the IntelliJ IDE, all the project-specific settings for the project are stored under the .idea folder. Project settings are stored with each specific project as a set of xml files under the .idea folder. If you specify the default project settings, these settings will be automatically used for each newly created project. Hey there!
I've been wondering for a while now and trying to come up with something, yet figured out nothing so far.. I am trying to create some special item/useful tool for "exposing" or "recognizing" a non-human creature or supernatural being hidden among regular folk. I dig the whole "silver coin trembling and vibrating while a beast is nearby" thing that Sapkowski has made, but I think I am too deep in that whole concept and it always sweeps my thinking and ideas towards it and away from something.. well, my own, I guess. I did try to come up with some kind of stopwatch, lets say, the watch would stop counting time while some unliving thing would be nearby, but I am hoping for something.. more, maybe less cheesy, for sure more simple and delicate.
Theme of the book that I work on with this is, in short, dystopian dark, perhaps victorian-ish world with strong light and shadow themes, multiple long-term wars across the continent with many forms of magical realms; one of the MCs is a catcher of unliving and nonhuman creatures and harvester of their so called "light/spheric essence", so I wanted to give him some kind of tool that would help him with his hunt.
I'll be glad for any point of direction, idea, design, anything! Just help me get rid of that silver witcher coin stuck in my head! :D

They frequently ask me questions about infidelityāsomething Iāve never engaged in. The problem arises because they ask repeatedly, sometimes accusing me of lying. While Iāve always been loyal, this cycle has been challenging for me to handle. In the past, I would eventually lose patience and get angry, which I know only made things worse.
Now that weāre working on things, Iāve been trying to stay calm, patient, and understanding while firmly standing by my truth. Initially, this seemed to help, as my first few responses would get a less volatile reaction. But as the conversation drags on and the questions persist, I start to feel like Iām repeating myself just to avoid escalation. I worry that my responses become too generic or dismissive, which ends up triggering her emotions even more.
I want to be supportive and hold space for her feelings, but Iām struggling to navigate this dynamic without it spiraling into conflict. It feels like the more we discuss it, the more likely I am to say something that triggers her, even unintentionally.

i have previously gifted a villager a clothing item and they have it displayed it in their house. if i gift them a wardrobe that fits their style, will they put the previously displayed clothes in there? i dont like gifting furniture or anything that changes the layout of their houses, but iāve gifted clothes already. i dont want my villagers to fill their houses with all my random gifts by testing it out lol
EX: i gave Nan a beautiful sweater but she just has it on a mannequin in her house. if i gift her a Black rattan wardrobe, which fits her theme, will she put the gd sweater in the wardrobe or will she be an ~animal~ and just leave it out?

This is the worst rating i've had during my climb. every other game is either someone nagging and throwing after first round, or we just roll other guys because they have the same thing. What is wrong with you guys? why gold 1 was so much better ? were you given some idiot pills when you got to the rank and should i have been given one? why not just suck it up and play as tank or heal for once ?
i mean it is an unfair rant, but pretty sure i am not alone on this one. stop looking at others' mistakes and focus on your own game, and switch, if the role you've taken doesn't work.
