Hi all
Sitting on the train on way back from London.
I am looking for some advice regarding my situation. 34M work in IT and Finance.
Lost my life saving last year (long story)
Been with my current employer 5+years. Most recently this job has now seemed to have changed and they want me to pick up new stuff which I am clueless about.
This has given me so much anxiety and stress - i want to just quit but only riding it out for the money as last year wasn't great.
I hate having to give weekly updates to my Line manager on some objectives he has set due by the end of next month they were set in December 1 day before my holidays.
I have goals for this year to set and can't even think of anything literally brain feels clogged up.
I can't even sleep properly this line manager is a complete ball ache and absolutely hate it.
Any advice regarding my situation i can barely think straight and struggling to even write this.

Or maybe she’s dead or maybe she is just so terribly busy with life that she hasn’t responded to any of my check ins for nearly the last 8 months.
My friend suffered from depression and bipolar disorder. She was dealing with a lot and then she stopped replying, about eight months ago. Every now and again, I send a message into the void where it goes to be left unanswered. She was my best friend for years. We didn’t have a falling out, no fight, no argument, nothing I could pinpoint. One of the last messages she sent me was explaining she’s dealing with a lot.
I’ve tried to contact her husband to get a reply, I tried to give her space, I check the obituaries to see if she has died. I can’t drive to her apartment as I’ve only been there once and don’t recall where it is (or if she even lives there anymore).
My best friend is a ghost to me now; whether that may be literally or figuratively.

I have ADD, anxiety, and SAD. Trouble staying asleep too. Therapy and ayahuasca helped me a lot. I decided I needed extra help, but I was scared of medication for years. I started on adderall 2.5/5mg in Nov and I’ve been on .5mg of Lexapro for almost 4 weeks.
The first 2 weeks seemed like things were getting easier for me, but now I’m in a slump again. I do my bare minimum of work (I work on commission/make my own hours sorta) then lay in bed all day, I can’t handle winter. I’m having intrusive thoughts and no motivation.
Should I stick it out? ask the doctor to up my dose?
Also, I’m curious if anyone finds it actually helps with seasonal depression or does a little bit of the depression still linger there a bit in the winter?

Hi,
My wife and I have been using the Nanit Pro for our 3 month old when she is napping in her crib. We have the motion notifications set to high, but are not getting any notifications when our baby moves around in the crib. We have not been using the breathing band because it doesn’t quite fit around the swaddle our baby is in currently. The swaddle we use is very similar color to the crib’s sheets, but we are wondering if anyone has experience getting motion notifications without using the breathing band?
Is the breathing band required to receive accurate motion notifications or is there potentially an issue with our Nanit detecting motion?
Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

21’ GT-line at 45k miles. The brakes held up pretty well so far but I’ve lately started noticing they’ve become a bit too soft or taking slightly longer to stop.
I don’t want to replace them with Kia’s stock kit since they seem to suck and warping issues with the rotors
Any suggestions on brakes+rotors (slotted, carbon ceramic) kit under $500? Shark racing used to have one but I don’t see that listed on their site anymore
