Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue through the suggested methods, I am still unable to log in due to persistent two-factor authentication (2FA) requests. Below are the steps I have already taken to regain access:
- Identity Verification Process:
- I completed the identity verification process by submitting a photo of my passport and a video of my face as requested.
- My authentication was approved, and I received the login link from Facebook. However, after clicking the link, the system continues to request the 2FA codes, which I never set up with Duo Mobile or Google Authenticator.
- Password Reset:
- I successfully reset my password, yet I am still unable to log in due to the recurring 2FA prompt.
- Tried Different Devices and Browsers:
- I have attempted logging in from multiple devices and browsers, but the issue persists, asking for the same 2FA codes each time.
- Help Center Exhausted:
- I have carefully reviewed all the available options in the Facebook Help Center, but they all lead back to the same 2FA request without providing a way to bypass it.
I’m reaching out to see if anyone here knows how to solve this or what steps I should take next. I’ve tried everything, but I’m still locked out. Does anyone know how to get direct assistance from Facebook support or have a contact email/phone number to escalate this issue?

First time poster, long time lurker, lol Y’all have some exquisite nails!! I’m getting married in 45 days (eeeek!!) and am looking at nail options. My natural nails don’t grow very long without breaking and peeling. I’m a press-on nails kinda gal but don’t want to take any chances of one popping off on the big day. I’m curious about gel-X extensions and wonder if someone could share their experience of how their natural nails faired once the extensions were removed. Gel polish is rough on my nails and I think acrylics would be way worse. Much thanks in advance and thanks for sharing all your incredible nails!

My(20nb) grandma passed away this last Friday and I’ve completely lost myself in grief. She’s the one I moved in with when I ran away from my abusive mom when I was 14, she helped me through so much, she’s the one who taught me how to cook and started my love for it. A few years ago someone managed to take all of her money and we had to sell the house. She ended up moving 2 hours away to live in an elder care apartment type home while I moved in with my partner in their dad’s house. I didn’t get to go visit her nearly as much as I wanted to and I regret that every single day. She ended up in the hospital I think in early November if not before that. She didn’t tell me she was in the hospital because she didn’t want me to worry as she assumed it was just breathing issues. My sister and I ended up going down to visit a few days after Christmas and she was still in the hospital. She looked so old that day and was covered in bruises from all the IVs and blood draws they had done. She went back home soon after that visit and kept telling us not to worry about her and that she was going to get better. I got a phone call from a relative that lives close to her and was told that she only had 6 months left. We planned to go visit her that Sunday because that was the soonest we could get down there. I got another call a few days later saying her hospice worker checked on her after a long day of visitors and she was declining rapidly and probably only had a few weeks, not months. That Friday I was with my best friend and I get the call that my grandma had passed away.
I don’t know what to do with myself. My partner and I were just kicked out as well so we’re trying to find a place to live in the midst of all this. I just feel like my life is falling apart and I genuinely can’t handle it. I don’t know what to do, I feel like it’ll never get better.
My sister keeps reminding me that at least she’s with our grandpa now, who passed in 2017. It just hurts so much knowing she didn’t know she was dying and her dogs will be so sad and she didn’t have time to tell me all of her recipes and so many other things. I just miss her so much.

For those of you who'd like to grab your rifle and step away from the flat ranges and into the field. Day 1 is all about external ballistics, wind and how to read/compensate for it, ballistic calculators and getting them set up properly, verifying your zero and gathering whatever data you'll need to prepare for day 2.
Day 2 we have a (roughly) 2 mile long hiking course with targets ranging from 250yds to 1250yds, engaged from branches and logs, rocks, your backpacks, tripods, etc. as we move along. We go over range estimation, body/rifle positioning, and nonstandard techniques throughout the course. The goal is to have fun, introduce some new concepts, and inspire some creativity in your shooting positions.

2025.01.22 19:17 Classic-Champion-966 Bad idea to send first email without an unsubscribe link?
I'm in the USA. Currently, all my email messages have an unsubscribe link.
That includes the registration/signup email message template.
When someone subscribes for my service they get an email saying "thanks for signing up, here is the link to what you requested, and here is a link if you want to unsubscribe".
I use text email, not html. So no way to push the unsubscribe element to the bottom and fill the screen with main content. It's literally just a short sentence and a link.
I check the logs/analytics/etc, and what I noticed is a certain percentage of people signing up and clicking the wrong link. They click unsubscribe link instead of clicking the link to access their content. At first I thought they just want to unsubscribe immediately after subscribing before even getting the content to which they subscribed. Weird, but OK. Some people probably want to do exactly that.
But then I started checking the feedback, specifically replies to the registration email. Some people reply saying "well, where is it, all i see is the settings menu!" They don't bother reading the text in the email and click on one of the links. And when they happen to click on the unsubscribe link, they see the settings page to unsubscribe.
I'm sure some users eventually figure it out and click the correct link. But some don't. And they just leave pissed that they didn't get what they were expecting.
So... I'm thinking about removing the unsubscribe link from the registration template. So that the only link a new user gets is the link to the content they expect to see. My thinking is registration confirmation is transactional email. It's only sent once when you take action to submit a subscription request. All follow-up is a different template.
it's possible that a user enters the wrong email address and some third-party receives the registration confirmation, I doubt we get many of those when that third-party actually does the unsubscribe instead of simply trashing the obviously wrong email.
I'm not quite sure about the legality of it. Are we required to include unsubscribe link in each and every email message? Including registration confirmation email messages?
