The silhouette of all the leaves even the background isn't mine. So fair warning I did find them on the internet but I do have them in the file for my teacher. The work has no objectives other than to represent fall, look pretty, and hopefully get me a good grade. I used a lot of corporate collages as inspiration, and that's what my teacher gave us. I wanted to invoke an Ohio fall without showing corn. Ohio is so known for corn I didn't want to use it at all. the leaves are there as the calling card of fall while the bare tree is there for contrast and to break up the organic leaf texture and the shapes. I used the shapes to invoke a tree with orange leaves in the fall. New home owner so sorry if this is a basic azz question, but my yard is half grass and half dirt, partly from mole hills and partly from work. This year I want my yard to get nice and grassy. Is it as simple as spreading grass seeds? Do I need to wait for a certain time of year? My googling provides me a lot of different answers so I’m just not sure. Advice appreciated.

2025.01.22 22:21 jacob_ewing Looking for a simple way to convert earphone output from stereo to mono
My problem comes from being deaf in one ear and perpetually having issues hearing all of the audio output on headphones. Old music like the Beatles is really bad for that. There are songs where I end up hearing only vocals, or inversely get an instrumental version.
What I'd like is just some simple adaptor that I can plug into my computer's audio output and then plug my earphones into that. Unfortunately, I can't find such a product.
So, if I can take a stereo cable, slice it apart, and hook both sides up to a circuit that merges the channels and outputs them back to both ears, I'd be very happy. Would anyone be able to give me a run-down on how to do that? Or better still, an existing schematic?
Alternatively if anyone knows of such a product...

i just graduated last semester with my AS Degree in Graphic Design. The reason for this persuite was the joy i found in creating websites/socials for friends in highschool who were making their own things that they wanted to sell. one was jewlery another is nail art and oddly enough slime for a girl i babysat and was obsessed w slime at the time. mind u i graduated highschool 2022. my first semester that fall after graduating in college was when Open AI basically first released and if not that it was midjourney/ dalle 3. I had professors obsessed with everything AI and how we absolutely need it to keep our careers. not to take over them but to enhance them. within my two years of getting my associates i started modeling and acting with a talent agency that i am now represented by! keep in mind ive always been apart of the performing arts. i am a graduate of The Royal Academy of Dance RAD and have danced ballet onstage my entire life! I knew that I would be taking my graphic design skills to the entertainment industry in one way or another I jus cant stay away! i may even be booked by a client tmr if i make the selection. but as for now i just got accepted i to FIU for a bachelor degree but is it even worth it? or should i build what i have now? i put myself into another class this semester ( life drawing ) its my only prerequisite to applying to the bachelor’s program other than submitting a portfolio of 20 artworks. i was planning to start fall 2025 but the deadline for the portfolio is feb 25th ofc i have works i could submit but i still might not make the deadline. I thankfully got the opportunity to work with my agency in their promotions and behind the scenes content for them as an intern for getting my associates degree. i just feel like being in classes is like a prision that i thought would end after highschool but it feels unending! every professor has told me im an artist of all trades i just gotta pick one 😭 i wanna do it all! dance, sing, create magic through art in any medium! i havent stopped, not once! and i just keep going. so after all this i feel like im crashing out thibkibg if postponing FIU till spring 2026. i didnt want to wait until then to start my bachelors but i NEEEEED a godamn break i have never taken one!!! i also wanted to take the time this good yeat of 2025 to build myself up more in modeling and acting now that i am signed w an agency and see where it takes me??? ugghhhh idkkkkkkk if anyone has some advice or suggestions if greatly appreciate it! im only 22 and thinking of slowing down alr like…

In today's post, I want to share my experiences with the courtroom, focusing mainly on the trial process. Before my arrest, I was like many others, a typical law-abiding citizen. Aside from some speeding tickets, I'd always followed the law. My only experience with courtrooms was through TV shows like Judge Judy and Night Court (I mostly remembered Bull, "the big bald bailiff"). I was pretty naive about the whole system.
Sometime in my 20s, I received a jury summons. I worked at a place that had an agreement with employees: if you were called for jury duty, you could turn in your jury duty check (about $20 a day back then) and the company would pay your normal daily salary for each day you served. This is where my real-world court experience began.
I want to be clear – I'm not talking about TV courtrooms anymore. I'm speaking from the experience of someone who served on a jury, went through a full trial, reached a verdict, and then later found myself on the other side, arrested and facing my own trial. While my trial didn't finish, I still gained firsthand experience of the court system from both sides – as a juror and a defendant.
Back to that jury duty. One of the first things I noticed in the jury assembly room (which held maybe 300 people) was how few people actually wanted to be there. Maybe 10, at most had an interest in being there. I figured those folks were also financially stable because there was a general feeling in the room that jury duty was a financial burden. Even though you're not supposed to make up excuses to get out of jury duty, people were definitely scheming. I heard things like, "Oh, I'll just say I think everyone's guilty," or "I'll say this or that, and they'll dismiss me."
It all came to a head when a man in a nice suit entered the room. After a brief introduction (I can't recall his title after all this time), he immediately asked who couldn't fulfill their jury duty obligations and why. Excuses flew at him, but he shot them down like an assault rifle filled with "No's." "No, no, no, that's not an excuse, you might be the breadwinner, but you make enough money to afford a few days of jury duty." People were told they were staying, whether they liked it or not.

I have a very unique issue that needs an equally unique solution. (though im honestly not even sure if im allowed to post this at all in this sub)
The issue im facing is that i cannot make an account on lovershub because for some reason when i go to verify my email, its banned in my country (even though the website itself is not) and using a VPN dosent help, instead i get a page with "The requested URL could not be retrieved".
So... i come here seeking aid. Can i somehow download the latest version of the mod we all know and love from loverslab (v1.66b for AE) or may haps a kind soul can share an unused or new account with me.
