Oof. Oh my god. I am a new mom to a 4 month old, fortunately I am back in school and have a great support system. I'm almost done with my associate's degree, and then I have to pick a major to focus on.
I went to beauty school back in 2021 and I'm certified to do laser tattoo removal. It's just HARD finding a job in this industry. I am so greatful that I am back in college, but I'm worried I won't even find a job after I graduate. I'm very much attracted to fields like marketting, and sales or the jobs that require heavy focus on those skills. Help. What should I major in? Or should I just say screw it and drop out of college entirely or try to go for a 2 year career like radiology or something?

2025.01.22 19:21 NervousDescription31 Need Advice..
I (24F) have been talking to this guy (28M) for about a month now, and finally just went on a dinner date last weekend. This guy is nice, pretty level headed and works what I would consider a blue collar job. He likes cars and motorcycles and stays busy. This is absolutely NO problem for me, I just value open communication and effort.
The date went well, and was about 2 hours long, and we shared some good laughs and seemed to be jiving. He said he wanted to see me again, and wanted the date to be closer to where I lived. Conversations and communication leading up to the date were okay, he was upfront with me in the beginning that he wasn’t the best at texting, and I mean some people just aren’t. We gradually shifted to Snapchat and he texted me less and less on our actual phones.
In short, since the date things have just felt off. I do tend to overthink and default to thinking it’s me, or something I personally have done. I addressed the possible communication differences, and he chalked it up to just being busy at work etc, which I do understand. I am a fast texter, and I enjoy texting throughout the day, but not in a clingy way, especially since I have my own life & job. He still texts me good morning and goodnight, but it’s like even after he gets off work, messaging is so sporadic and only done on Snapchat now. He doesn’t compliment me much anymore, and I just don’t feel the communication is there.
He still says he’d like to go on another date, but when I try to plan in advance, he says he doesn’t like planning a week ahead, and doesn’t know his work schedule and now “we’ll see” is added into the equation. ONCE AGAIN to an extent I understand and I am not trying to be an asshole.
I guess my question is, I need some advice on how to approach this, or maybe how I could be more understanding to the situation, or maybe I just need to end it if it’s not something we can agree on effort wise. I don’t know if it’s a lack of interest situation (lack of effort) or truly because of his job. I want to give him a chance but I really am not looking for a pen-pal. TIA.

2025.01.22 19:21 suckerlove_ Da: I can't get pass a black screen?
I'm trying to boot up DA:I on pc/steam so I can keep going at it with its plot (I got stuck, and while i waited for a friend to help me progress, i was playing da2), but now it just won't like... play. I'll be able to boot up the game, get pass the title screen, get the loading card screens, but after that it'll be stuck on a black screen.
I did a few things that might be the issue, made sure I was logged in to the EA launcher and have it launch for Da:I, uninstalled and re-installed the game, and then restarted my pc a couple of times but I can't get it passed the black screen. Is there anything i'm doing wrong ???? Or is there an underlying issue i'm not aware of when it comes to DA:I? I've been using task manager to force close DA:I and the EA app each time

I thought this was the case after the Garou sit down. And I could see it as clever to change a chapter or even a mid-chapter change. But this is a huge erasure. If it is an attempt at an intentional use of a story device it is a bad one. If the changes are phenomenal it will still not erase months of wasted patience, reading, and labor. I’m a dumb devoted fan who’s still gonna be here anyway and maybe they bank on that.

Hi, I have a 3008 II from 2018.
A year ago I started noticing my roof on the driver side was wet after rain fall. Went to the garage they told me it was some silicone that came loose, They fixed it they said.
6 months later same problem. Drove to the garage, car stayed there for 3 days they put the car in the carwash and roof stayed dry. They couldn't find anything wrong.
Now 2 weeks ago (after some heavy rain fall) got in the car drove a couple meters first turn i take allot of water poured of the upper console.
Anybody else experienced this problem? And what was the cause?
Already spend over 700€ in garage bills without the problem being fixed.
