I'm planning to stay for two/three weeks in Manhattan in June. I'm a solo traveler in my 30s and I'm very anxious about my personal safety, so I only stay in hotels that offer 24 -hours front desk and that are located in very safe areas. I was in Manhattan long ago for only couple of days and I fell in love with city, so I'm planning this time to stay for longer. I'm aware that it's extremely expensive city and there so no way to find a good accomodation that is cheap. Still I'm convinced that there are some ways to find a good and safe accomodation for less than 150$ a night! Can anyone suggest safe hotels/ guest houses in Manhatten (not other areas) at reasonable price? The kind of places that you can't find on booking.com maybe. Any advice is appreciated

Hello every one, not sure this is the place for it, but I'll start here.
About 3 days ago my dad left a voicemail on my partners phone, said he was in puerta Vallarta, with his guide/cab driver hes known for years, waiting for his host to arrive so he can get into his apartment. Roughly 8pm Sunday night.
He asked for me to call him, so I did. It goes straight to voicemail. I've texted him on his cell and on facebook. I've tried face timing him without answer. No response to emails. He doesnt sound distressed, injured, in danger or most commonly, drunk in his voice message.
Its not unusual for him to reply 6-12 hours or a day later, but hes never not responded for over a day before. Hes been going to mexico for almost a decade.
His last facebook login was about 3am monday morning. I've called and texted every day since, no response.
What should I do, when do I need to start doing it, and who do I start talking to?
I only have his flight itinerary, none of his stays or contact info for any one else there.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Pretty self explanatory. This is my official return to youtube after starting my channel as a Covid Project 4 years ago (wow).
I got a chance to visit SacAnime in Sacramento with press passes to get this footage. I know the mics are bad, we swapped them for our UPCOMING VIDEO coming out this friday! If you check out my other recent video, I'm sorry about the quality. We had shitty mics, a shitty cam, and no grip/stabilization on the camera.
I guess I'm really looking for feedback on my editing style. Like are these videos entertaining? Can you sit through one of these without clicking off? At what point do I start to lose my audience? What can I do to make these videos better besides the necessary quality improvements to make the videos more presentable?

DAE live in constant fear of messing up at work and losing your job? For me its so bad i feel like i must save most of my money (other than necessities), bc i always feel what if i lose my job and need it to live off? For this reason i am also weary of any purchase binding myself to an instalment for an extended period of time, bc who knows if ill be able to afford it down the line? Posted in this thread bc i am diagnosed with ocd and i think its related to my ocd bc i do ruminate on this. I’m currently in a credit training program at a medium sized bank in which I am getting exposure to credit analysis at every level; small business through corporate as well as a handful of experience in other areas such as operations and wealth management. As of now I will finish the program and be placed as a credit analyst. I am hoping to be placed at the corporate division due to the complexity of deals and exposure to larger deals. The progression from there would be to go to the sales side after around 2 years and become a relationship manager. However, I am very interested in private credit. I have heard that corporate banking experience can transfer to private credit. My question is: How can I transition into private credit? I’m not looking for a quick transition. I am willing to go back for an MBA as my current company will pay for a portion of it and continue to gain experience in my current situation. Any advice would help.

Before anyone says anything, yes it's probably China glass but I don't mind. Anyway, I ordered from amg glass' website, they gave me an order confirmation, but they didn't charge my card. It wasn't even like a pending transaction or anything, it was just nothing. You can't make an account on that website so the order number thing is pointless. I tried reaching out but they're slow to answer.
Has anyone else had trouble ordering from them before?
