2025.01.22 20:07 Kurupt_Introvert Car just cutting off sometimes…anyone deal with similar?
Last month waiting in line for gas at Costco my car just cut off. I only realized because the message “transmission not in park” message pops when it does that and in gear.
Thought it was battery related as my battery died the week after and had to be replaced.
Today I did a lot of driving and came home and left 30 min later. At a light and it cut off again, same message etc.
The car so far has started right up after I put it back in park but not sure what to make of this issue.
Anyone else deal with a similar issue and have a possible diagnosis of a cause?

In mid-August 2024, a Sunday off specifically, I slept on the right side to such an extent that when it was light out my right arm was crushed, I woke up with a very strong pain in my shoulder. On the day I have to do bench press I feel a discomfort when I reach the failure in my right shoulder. I decided to ignore it as I knew why I had this pain, the result of sleeping with my arm or shoulder crushed. It was 2 months like this until I decided to go for a checkup and my doctor decided to infiltrate corticosteroids in the AC joint area, as that's where the pain came from. It was the worst thing I could have done. It was my first injury and I had no information. The point is that I continued training and could already press bench than 100 kg with minimal discomfort, was more comfortable. The problem is that the corticoid effect passed in 15 days and the pain returned, until I wanted to go to a physiotherapist and he gave me a massage around my scapula and deltoids of the right shoulder with kinesiotape ending.
The massage was painful in some areas. It took me 3 days to recover from the unbearable pain in my back, but I realized that I could not lift a fuck above my head, everything got worse. I went to the doctor for a second time and he told me that it was already a degenerative process in my joint AC. It’s crazy man. I would have stayed calm instead of investigating the pain, what I did was make it worse with all those methods that I am not aware of. I had to take rest. I have been unable to lift anything for 2 months, I am currently strengthening all the rotator cuff, scapulas or deltoids. I don't know that you have such a swelling but I can't lift anything heavy over my head. I should have just stopped bench pressing and not gone anywhere to get checked…

2025.01.22 20:07 BittenBagel Steam Clipping Broken… It just doesn’t work. Fix this, Valve.
I’ve brought this up in this sub a few times with zero feedback or help. Sending out a signal again. Maybe someone can give me a fix or Valve will see it and actually do something about it.
What doesn’t work: •The entire quick clipping process (Steam Button + Up on DPAD). It’s broken. It doesn’t work. At all... It doesn’t register the gesture nor can I change the button mapping to try and troubleshoot the issue with another button combo. The ONLY way I can clip things is to record my gameplay and then when something happens that I want to clip I have to set a timestamp marker and then go back after I’m done playing and scrub through the entire video which is generally hours long and then make the clip. You can’t even fast scrub with your finger. It’s horrible and not very intuitive.
•Recorded mic audio of my voice in the clips clip above the audio ceiling nearly every time. Essentially making the clips that I have to painstakingly make practically unusable and unlistenable because my voice just makes the speakers sounds like they are gonna blow from distortion.
What works: •Starting the recording overlay •Setting time markers

I was really hoping that the new update would resolve these issues but nothing has changed. I’d love to clip stuff while I’m playing Halo Infinite to share with friends but I just can’t. I’m curious to know if this is only me experiencing these issues. The DeckyRecorder DeckyLoader plugin is still broken I’m pretty sure so that really isn’t an option unless there is a fix for it.

2025.01.22 20:07 CGGamer Appeal for credit to College of Engineering for a course that is "restricted"?
My first semester at UConn, when building my schedule, I was advised to retake precalculus (MATH 1060Q). Now in my final semester, I discover this class is a "restricted class" by the College of Engineering and I would have to tack on an additional 3-credity course to meet the 120 credits for a CS major even though I currently stand at what is actually 123. Unfortunately for me, I am a commuter student who may only commute to UConn two days a week. My schedule and another student's were designed around each other so we would be able to drive together and the option to commute independently isn't an option. To add on to this, I am functioning as a family caregiver at home for my grandpa as he cannot be home alone for long periods and requires constant assistance. To put it simply, I am pretty limited in the time I can devote to another class.
Are there any options for an appeal? I don't know if a similar scenario has ever happened to anyone but I don't understand why of all classes, a math class is restricted by the CoE, and how I was never informed of this by my advisor when I started my journey at UConn. I am very frustrated with the school and it's administration

Mostly just asking this because I am almost certain I saw it somewhere before but now I cannot find any evidence whatsoever of its existence, it was an OG Golf Mk1 or Mk2 (I can't quite remember which) shell but with a modern interior that VW were manufacturing/selling.
I think when I read about it first it was some sort of special anniversary edition or something to that effect?
Can someone confirm if I've lost my marbles or was this a real thing Volkswagen made?
