“Welcome Home (Sanitarium)” might be my favorite song from MOP, but I always have to wince a little whenever James Hetfield sings “They think our heads are in their hands, but violent use brings violent plans.”
Like I get what it’s supposed to mean—the abusive way that the inmates are being treated will result in an uprising—but you can just tell that he’s trying so hard to word it so that fits within the melodic structure of the verse, while also making it rhyme. It sounds like it was written by a middle schooler; it’s soooo forced and clunky.

I walked my daughter to her bus this morning and after leaving to head back I took a really funny turn cause I haven't been eating really just making sure my daughter does and nearly passed out I started having a panic attack everyone was just walking by but one lovely lady stopped took me to sit down and got me some water and a mars bar🥹 didn't get her name she had to catch her bus but if you're reading this thank you from the bottom of my heart ♥️.
