2025.01.22 20:45 Wonderful_Most_5132 Cyclosporine (immune suppressant) may have ruined my kidneys
I’m freaking out and very down right now and need support, so long story short, I have chronic urticaria (a bad case of it) the safe meds stoped working for me and the only other options are immunosuppressants, I’ve been on cyclosporine for like 3-4 months now and it can cause kidney issues, well I’m just not seeing some labs from back in October 2024 that my urine land wars very elevated. The immunologist that prescribed the cyclo hasn’t even been drawing labs like he’s supposed to and I’m so scared because of that my kidneys are damaged. I have a follow up appointment with my PCP tomorrow but I’m freaking out. The one medication that’s works, I can’t take anymore and back to prednisone which is also bad cus I’m also diabetic. I can never win. I’m made af at the doctor and I swear if my kidneys are damage imma sue.

2025.01.22 20:44 gabadook Transferring a 4CA Embryo Soon--Any Advice?
I'm 29F and doing IVF for MFI only. Husband is 30 if that matters.
I'm transferring a 4CA euploid day 6 embryo in late February and I was wondering if anyone had any advice for increasing the chances of success? Diet? Exercise? Post-transfer tips? Supplements? I'll do anything.
This is our only transferrable embryo so far (we're waiting on PGT-A results for cycle #2 but I don't want to get my hopes up) and we're not doing a third cycle (unless a financial miracle occurs). I'm feeling a lot of pressure to make sure this embryo sticks because, as of right now, this feels like my only chance at having any child at all.

Hi all! My mom is currently going through a manic episode, her first in 2 years. Whenever she’s manic, I experience these overwhelming feelings of anxiety.
I constantly worry when my “episode” is going to come. Has anyone else ever experienced this?
These feelings of anxiety sometimes manifest into not feeling good enough. I already struggle with self-esteem and being loved by partners. I feel like my mother having bipolar and me possibly having it at some point, compounds these feelings of unworthiness.
I am in therapy and working through these thoughts. Also, I work on my affirmations and meditations. However, these thoughts became louder when my mom is in a manic state.
Just wanted to share my thoughts and see if anyone has the same experience. Thanks!

My wife can't seem to get off of margarine entirely. If you had to pick a healthy margarine/vegan butter is there any brand that is healthier than others? I'm thinking of minimizing saturated fat and sodium but there may be other things I'm not thinking of.

My brain is not my friend. Or my brain is an asshole. However you’d like to say it, I have this repetitive thought come up here and there. And it’s back today.
As I’m on my way home from work, it’s cold, it’s uncomfortable. I haven’t had drink in two weeks. And I want to go to the gym today.
My brain starts fantasizing, a nice dark beer, bundled up, snow falling outside. My brain starts telling me, the gym sucks, that’s work!! But hear me out, I actually enjoy the gym a lot!! Like my brain is legit gaslighting me😅
So I’m literally talking to myself while driving.
Ok, no shame, let’s be real, how fun would going home and having a beer be? Zero to Ten.
I say to myself, realistically…3/10.
How fun would going to the gym be? Ok, at minimum, like a rougher day, 7/10.
So here I am. Knowing myself!!! But my brain is still fighting with me. It’s so crazy.
So I start rating activities to myself, and every single one scores higher in satisfaction than having a beer. It took about my whole drive for the craving to die down, but what the hell. My brain is an asshole.

So I'm looking for a glossary or anything of some sort to get an idea of things that I have forgotten. I remember the plot, major things that happened and so on up until around chapter 500. I stopped reading around that point and I was almost caught up back then so I figured I'd let chapters pile up.
Now I began reading again and I was wondering if there was any sort of website/glossary of some sorts that I could use to refresh my memory on certain characters or things. Preferably spoiler free ones but can't tell if that's even reasonable or so.
Not sure if it exists or not but if anyone knows of such website I'd be delighted to know
