2025.01.22 22:22 The__Plague_Doctor I need help to choose a way to save up money.
Hi I am 20 y.o and currently keeping all my cash in a bank. I was thinking to move all my cash to a ISA or into a Bank savings account as the money I earn just stays in the bank and is burning with inflation. I have a Foresters Financial ISA what before used to be my trust fund, I kept some 2/3 of my trust fund money there and in the last 2 years it increased my money in value by 18.4%.
My problem is that there maybe a better ISA to use for savings. But I will need occasionally to withdraw money out for multiple personal reasons, and in addition I am working mostly on part time temporary contracts. I do not feel safe for my future finance and if I loose my current job I will have to withdraw 270 pounds a month out to pay my bills. (My Foresters Financial allows withdraws at any time of the year)
I am still in college doing level 4 and 5 courses and have plans for a University top up. I feel its to early to start saving money, but I have nothing to spend it on as of my childhood time I built up this saving and fear to spend mindset.
I will be very happy to hear what you guys think about what is a better way to save up. Thank you!!!

I'm 22 years old and don't drive I need my licence, I want to learn automatic cos I'm autistic and just not confident at all. When I get stressed I freeze up amd I feel like if I'm behind a manual wheel I'm going to get into an accident.
There's no automatic driving instructor's in my town - there was one but we didn't work out the other cost an extra $50 to come into my town. And I cannot plan a driving lesson weeks in advanced cos mums got so much going on she's literally impossible to plan things like more than an hour in advanced.
She has a manual licence. And she's gotten better but I've seen how she yelled at my older siblings teaching and I can't handle that. And you go OP buy your own car
I've been trying years ans years. I've been trying I find cars that I go hey that's a fair price hey older sibling hey dad hey mum can you help me can gou talk to this person can you organise looking at this car. Because I am relying on them because I have no idea how to spot a car because. I know nothing about cars and they say yes then go oops no forgot cars gone.
I'm too fucking scared to go driving anywhere but my small town cos I've only goy 6 hours of thr 50 hours I need. My old driving instructor let me know how terrible I was at driving and turning. I'm broke I'm running out of my savings cos I'm studying rn and on government assistance for that. I know i physically cannot get a job ans study at the same time I'll burn out and have to drop out my studies

All the support just feels like it's short comfort not actually support which is what I fuckinh need. I really really hate to pull the autism card but this is the only time in my life that I truely truely have very felt like I'm disabled and need support with.

2025.01.22 22:22 I_Didn_Do_It What's the better long term play regarding stones? DW/BH/GT Question
Been meaning to post this for a while. On PC so I don't have screenshots to post currently.
Right now GT/BH/DW are all Sync'd at 3:20. My current goal is to get my GT bonus up to around 18x and then start using my stones elsewhere. My dilemma:
Current UW's
GT DW SL BH CF
Tournament placements - Consistently in Champion - 16-24. A little over 200 stones per week.
I consistently see that research is the biggest bottleneck in the game, so I'm considering lowering DW cooldown as much as possible in a large chunk (to keep synced with GT/BH). In order to drastically improve cell income (currently around 20k cells/run at T10 4500 waves-ish) and consistently keep research speed bonuses higher. (My current first choice)
Another option would be to invest in Perma BH/GT. This in all likelihood would push me a lot further in runs. Simultaneously, it would increase my income (around 700b-1T coins/day at this point) and extend my tournament runs, likely getting me more stones and letting me progress higher in the Champion ranks. (Currently my second choice)
Last option would be to see if I could get CL in next UW choice to give me an faster boost in my ranking (likely need some investment into it, but in comparison to the other options). This would likely give me the ability to in a shorter amount of time at least have the chance of bouncing between champ/legends, but it'd probably take a decent amount of time to high the higher champ ranks still. (Not considering this one with much seriousness, currently)
I'm also open to suggestions that are outside of these, but my request is specific to stone usage at the current time. I know without screenshots there may be other information necessary to give relevant info. So, if you would like a specific piece of info, ask and you shall receive. I'll check in a few times a day to answer questions/respond to anyone that is helpful.

2025.01.22 22:22 SnooApples6721 After a long time of going to many different specialists I've finally gotten an answer to my issues. It turns out I have a fungus called Aspergiullus Sydowii.
I had an endoscopy done early December and was hoping they'd come back with a positive result for Candida or H. Pylori but was bummed to find out nothing turned up. I found out I have Gastritis and a 2 cm hernia and was put on a GERD diet. I'm already on the Candida diet so this news unfortunately didn't help much. Went back to the ENT since she had prescribed me liquid Nystatin when I had thrush and asked if she could prescribe me an antifungal that treats intestinal issues. Since the endoscopy came back negative for Candida she wasn't able to prescribe an antifungal tablet but thankfully she had decided to run a bacteria culture and fungus smear. That was two weeks ago. Today she emailed me saying she received an update that I have Aspergiullus Sydowii and that she would be able to prescribe me an antifungal.
It's been years of struggling with all sorts of symptoms and trying to figure out the root cause while going to specialist after specialists with no answers except for another blood test or lab. I finally stumbled onto this Candida community after finding out I have thrush which could be a symptom of Candida or some other fungus.
My symptoms include reflux from my gastritis, cramping/muscle aches when I exert the smallest amount of effort to lift something, random muscle twitches, small lumps under my skin, insomnia, depression, dry, itchy, hoarse throat that leaves me coughing frequently and always feeling thirsty, but water or tea don't seem to help, intense hunger for sugar and carb at night between 9-11 pm, shortness of breath, and the most recent symptoms the last couple months has been a smell/taste of mildew whenever I sneeze, blow my nose, or cough. Also, I have elevated C reactive protein, A immunoglobulin, ANA, along with T4 thyroxine total (thyroid), and bilirubin though my most recent bilirubin check was normal.
I'm going to continue the Candida diet and really hope that this antifungal will knock this fungal infection out of the park. This community is a huge blessing and has an encyclopedia of knowledge and insight into supplements, tests, and diet plans. Keep doing what you do and continuing to help others.

2025.01.22 22:22 AugurOfDusk Game freezing on Ludwig 2nd phase cutscene in Bloodborne.
I recently started playing through bloodborne on Shadps4 v0.5.0 and it had been going great with no issues at all until I decided to fight Ludwig. First phase works fine, but when he reaches half health and the game is supposed to play his 2nd phase cutscene, it just displays a black screen forever. I have to close the emulator since it doesn't automatically crash.
I have heard of people having problems with the Laurence cutscene with the 60 fps patch enabled in the patches menu, but I do not have that patch selected. I was also confused though, because even without having the 60 fps patch selected in shadps4, my game has running at 60 fps anyway from the moment I started playing it.
Currently I cannot progress through the DLC because the game bugs out every time I reach Ludwig's 2nd phase. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I know this is a small thing but it is incomprehensible to consider tremolos to fall under the topic of "Repeats". This is how a sub-AI robot would think about music. No disrespect to the team but so much of this product seems like it was conceived of with a purely developer mentality rather than an understanding of a musician's intuition.
I'm glad us Finale expats got the discounts, and I'm not giving up yet, but things like this raise red flags for me that this product might not end up being a serious professional alternative.

Someone posted a few days ago about how Carnival of Carnage wasn't originally intended to be a joker card, i always thought about it was weird cause the name "Carnival of Carnage" is more of a place or event, not a joker. So i always figured it was an after thought, like how StarWars wasn't originally intended to be a trilogy. I think they included it as a joker card cause back then trying to release 6 albums on a major record label was a huge hail Mary, not like now anyone can record an album in their bedroom and upload it to the world the same day.
So my little theory/prediction is after they release the 5th card of deck 3 they will surprise us soon after with a 6th card that acts as a bridge between deck 1 and 3, depending how you look at it it's the true card 1 of deck 1 or an accidental purpetual evil completing 666, a two headed mother always at war with itself.

2025.01.22 22:22 Extra-_-Light Stop Building Ideas No One Wants(Part 1): How I Helped Founder Validating AI Medical App Without Single line Code MVP
In one of my free testimonials for my idea validation framework, a founder came to me with an idea for an AI medical assistant. The concept was to use AI to help in emergency cases, reducing error rates.
The founder, coming from a nursing background, was non-technical but had started learning programming to build an MVP (Minimum Viable Product). She wanted to test if the idea was worth investing in. However, she didn't realize that learning programming is a huge investment of time and effort in itself. In This post i will show you how I helped her validating that the idea get her first customers in 2 weeks stragity without a single line of code
To help her, I structured our conversations around these questions:
- The Ideal audience?
- psychological Need
- The Solution Statement
- SMVP (Smallest MVP)
She answered, "Doctors and nurses."
To me, that was the wrong answer. Before I share my answer, let me explain how I define my ideal audience.
Any of my ideal audience should satisfy these points:
- They should benefit directly from my service.
- They have the power to use it or let others use it.
- They can pay for my solution.
So, can doctors and nurses enforce this system on everyone in the hospital? They can suggest it, but enforce it as policy? I don't think so.
After excluding the medical staff as the ideal audience, my answer was that the hospital management could be the ideal customer.
- They would benefit from better handling of emergency situations.
- They have the power to set that system as policy.
- They can pay for the solution.
#2 The Psychological Need You might ask, "Why does it matter? We already know the need, the customer, and the solution. What does 'psychological need' even mean?"
Actually, the psychological need is way more important than you might think.
Basically, it's the human motive to use or buy your service, and it can shift the solution in different ways. Let's identify the psychological problem for this customer that would make them buy it from you.
Need Description - Version 1:
"We're going to improve emergency handling cases using AI." To determine if this is the psychological need, we should check if it's "time-traveler proof." In other words, if we went back 10,000 or a million years and described this need, would they understand it? Probably no.
Need Description - Version 2:
"We're going to reduce human error in emergency cases in hospitals." This version is better, but for someone from a million years ago, what do "hospitals" or "human error" mean?
Need Description - Final Version:
"We're going to increase people's trust in the thing you do."
I think this could work because humans trust, distrust are a built-in survival senses.
You'll see how important this description is when we start designing the smallest MVP.
#3 The Solution Statement The solution statement will be our guide to validating the need. It consists of 3 parts:
"Psychological Need" + "Solution" + "The Way"
In our example, it would be:
"We're going to increase people's trust in the thing you do" + "through reducing human error in emergencies" + "via an AI medical assistant app."
#4 The Smallest MVP As I mentioned, the founder was learning programming to validate this. Learning programming is a good thing, for sure, but if we're doing it only to build an MVP for idea validation, it's not the right investment, at least for me.
What is an MVP? I know you know it means Minimum Viable Product, but does it mean the smallest working product? Many people think the MVP should be similar to the goal but smaller, like an AI app with the fewest features. For me, if that MVP takes more than 3 working days from one person, it might not be the SMVP (Smallest MVP).
And here, the psychological problem will play a core role in defining the SMVP.
First, you need to know that all technologies are just tools to help you with your solutions. There should be a way to replace them with something else if needed.
The problem we want to solve, or the value we're bringing, is:
"We're going to increase people's trust in the thing you do" + "through reducing human error in emergencies" + "via an AI medical assistant app."
The app is just a way to implement the solution, but the solution itself is the way of handling the emergency.
So, our plan to validate this is that the founder will start by acting as the tool for solving the situation herself. She will design the workflow for handling emergencies and act as the AI coordinator on the job.
This way, she will:
- Easily and quickly change the process based on real scenarios.
- Check how effective the process is.
- Gather numbers on improvements.
- They want to be trusted by more people.
- She has the numbers to prove it.
- They want to be trusted by more people.
- She has the numbers to prove it.
