So, another Ventures season is about to finish, and another one will start. I've now played Ventures throughout 2024, although I originally played StW in 2019. Whilst Ventures offers a slightly different gameplay it's basically StW without your favourite weapons the way you would want them. So perhaps its time for Epic to put a little more spark into Ventures?
Now, being realistic Epic will do nothing BUT I will try and ask for the smallest of changes that I would like to see. I'm sure we all have a very long laundry list of bug fixes, UI updates and the like we would love to see implemented - I will selfishly look only at (minor?) tweaks that I would think would make Ventures something more unique and fun for a Player. Please feel free to add your own comments listing what you would like or even why my ideas would make Ventures worse... which is certainly not my aim. If I get any of the mechanics wrong, please let me know. Thx.
Changes I would like:
Vending Machines:
- Allow ALL players to buy a weapon from a vending machine (vm). Keep 4 VMs per game.
- Display the Element of the weapon (Physical, Energy, Fire, Water or Nature), along with its current data.
- All VMs/weapons are Legendary from the start.
- Weapon repair costs to be more proportional to the durability being restored i.e. 50% durability costs 50% of purchase resources to repair. Perhaps 25, 50 & 75% markers.
- Allow the Element of a weapon to be changed (nice to have). I don't care to recall how many 'useless' weapons I've bought / acquired thanks to their Element type.
Vending machines to have only designated Weapon sets (4/5 sets per season) that have been enhanced. Since weapons cannot be crafted make this a feature of Ventures that enhances the experience. Include Mythic weapons & Nocturno (Level 50+) and weapons that have good or better Perk combinations. Give each weapon set an upgraded 6th perk - unique to each Venture season. I'm not thinking of brand new 6th perks - just take perks from founders weapons or enhance standard 6th perks to improve damage and/or duration of effects; affliction, snare, impact, stun, stagger, steam cloud, chain lightning, explosion (on crit hit,/head shot) etc..
Weapons gathered outside of Vending Machines should be as they are now (random).
Backpack:
- Weapons show their Element type on their Picture Icon.
- Have the ability to set weapons as a favourite (do not recycle flag).
- Additional filter buttons to allow the Player to select a weapon of a certain subtype - i.e. Sniper Rifle, pistol etc.
- Other filter buttons to allow the Player to select a weapon of a certain element type - i.e. Nature, Energy etc.
- Sorting by weapon subtype should place the weapon types into distinct groups. Each group should start on its own line and have as its first pictorial icon a generic pictorial representation of the type that follows - being distinct in colour from actual weapon rarities i.e. Black and White. Probably order the subtypes by Level and then Name - with favourites being placed ahead of all within the Group.

I just saw a video on YouTube of someone investing in all the weekly payers and then reporting on what happened. So I figured I'd do something similar for MSTY but without actually investing, just using the daily prices from inception to January 17.
Here's the methodology:
- MSTY was initially available on Feb 22, 2024 which is was a Thursday, so starting with the following Wednesday (2/28) the assumption was to buy 10 shares every Wednesday
- Didn't want to mess with hourly data so the cost at which the shares were purchased was the average of the high and low for the day.
- Dividends were reinvested at the high/low average on the pay date
- 440 shares purchased @$17.78 average (Total investment $7,822)
- 310 DRIP shares @$22.47 average (Total dividends $6,973)
- 750 total shares on 1/17/2025 @$19.72 (Total investment $14,795)
- Total value on 1/17/2025 assuming close price of $29.87 = $22,413

Hi everyone!! I am currently on month 3 of accutane. My dose is 80mg per day and I’m currently getting the worst body aches and joint pain ever. It’s hindering me from even going to the gym daily as I used to and I’m not as active as before. I have been less likely to want to go out as well because of this. My dermatologist has told me I should start taking ibuprofen for my pain but I want to see if there are any other suggestions anyone else has tried before and that has worked! Any tips would be greatly appreciated 🥰

2025.01.22 21:52 Ok_Carrot_8622 Hallucinations? Something else?
So there’s this thing. I always hear random words mostly when Im abt to sleep. Ik I have OCD and anxiety so I get lots of racing thoughts as my minds thinks nonstop… but sometimes the voice is a bit more realistic, like in a dream instead of racing thoughts.
Sometimes I also get flashes of faces from people Idk when I am abt to go to sleep, very realistic. Its mostly during this time but in some cases during the day. It is kinda startling when it comes in a flash.
Those could be just hypnagogic hallucinations, I know. They got stronger during a time when I was more stressed (and also struggled telling if I was asleep or awake). Its funny cuz once during this experiences a word came to me “claircognizant”, like something written on a paper. Once I one where got “transported” to the living room and my dog tried to bite me, but he was in my moms room, again extremely realistic.
The only time I actually experienced this and am sure was not an hallucination was when I was a little kid and I remember I heard it loud and clear, despite knowing it was in my head, a weird male voice saying “ah” and “oh”. Although it was just in an specific place (and no, I wasn’t about to sleep, it was during the day and I was awake). It was way more realistic than all the things I’ve said here before. As a kid I used to think of it kinda like a hiccup, something that sometimes happens.
And lastly, I’ve been experiencing thinking about something and then someone saying it or doing it. Sometimes it takes months for it to happen again, sometimes not. But its not a rare occurrence, and the “coincidences” are just too much to if yk what I mean. I also am very good at predicting hours, like what time is it.

The vehicle screeched to a halt, its driver—a 45-year-old human man—wide-eyed and gripping the wheel tightly.Bruce Sanders blinked, his Detroit Tigers baseball cap slightly askew. “What the hell just happened?” he muttered, stepping out of his Ford truck and surveying the scene.Before him was a city unlike anything he had ever seen. Towering spires with glowing runes pierced the sky, and the streets were filled with beings of every imaginable species. Bruce’s jaw dropped as he spotted a hulking ogre carrying crates and a lithe elf casting a spell to summon a floating orb of light.“Hey! Hey, buddy!” Bruce called out, waving to a nearby passerby. The pedestrian, a lizard-like humanoid, hissed something incomprehensible and scurried away.
The commotion quickly drew the attention of local authorities.
