Okay, I had a drug test today for a company I REALLY want to work for. I hadn't even considered that I would be drug tested as I live in Oregon, where weed is totally normalized. This is an entry-level, non-dot white-collar job.
They sent me to Quest with this panel code

Last week, before I knew I was getting tested, I ate little pieces of a 10 mg edible 3 nights in a row before bed. That’s the only thing I’ve done. I don’t even use weed recreationally. It’s just to help me sleep when I’m having a tough time.
Some posts say that the panel does include THC; others say that it doesn’t. The other issue is, if they rescind my offer for a positive test, I can’t get hired back at the job I just quit for 6 months.
Any thoughts? I’m bugging out and don’t know what to do or think

2025.01.22 23:04 FullyDeluxe Elite Series 2 Core controller won't connect to Wireless Adapter!
Hi everyone,
I have recently bought the Xbox Series S controller with the Wireless Adapter Bundle. However, the reasoning I bought this is because I want to connect it with my Elite 2 Core controller and have the Series S controller as a backup.
Anyways, long story short, the Adapter was recognised in Windows 11 perfectly fine, despite confused by not being notified of any driver updates.
I proceeded to then press the pair button and it flashes on the Adapter. Now, I did the same with my new and out of the box Core controller, but they both continuously flash and then stop blinking.
I was told by tech support to update the Elite Core controller via USB in the Accessories app, which I did, but still won't connect with each other.
I then decided to unbox and connect the Series S controller it came with, and that still won't pair with the Adapter either.
Any help is appreciated with this!

USPS couldn't seem to track it down when I filed a ticket with them. Amazon eventually refunded me.
I've been bummed out since the sale price I ordered it at expired, and Amazon no longer had them in stock. In fact, for awhile they were out of the 102 as well. Didn't really want to pay full price plus shipping direct from Radiacode either.
Well out of the blue the darned thing showed up today! Amazon says I'm supposed to return it, but I'm going to do everything I can to get them to just void the refund (it's a gift card balance on my account) because 1) I don't want to go through this again, and 2) the price went up, and 3) in my excitement I opened it without thinking about returns.
I'm excited to finally get to use this little guy. It's been sitting next to my desk here at work for about an hour and is reporting a dose rate of .04 µSv/hr / (~130 CPM). I thought that seemed perhaps a touch low, but it turns out sniffing around online that my corner of AK is known to have low background, so that's gratifying.
Anyone got some suggested alarm thresholds for it? They seem weirdly low from the factory. Since it appears to have two tiers of alarm I was thinking one for "Oh, that might be interesting" and another for "That needs investigating"

Hi everyone - I got laid off from my relatively niche job a few months ago after 6 years working there. I took a month or so off before diving into the job hunt, and luckily so was able to secure some interviews through connections I had from my previous role. I have been wildly lucky, getting 2 interviews from 6 applications and have, just today, received 2 offers.
Offer 1 - $95k, 10% bonus, hybrid (only 1-3x in office a MONTH), share plan, benefits, 3 weeks vacation. During the verbal offer, they said the role had been open since November, and they’ve interviewed ‘a ton’ of people and I was by far the strongest candidate. This is an established, profitable company in an industry I am interested in.
Offer 2 - $105K, no bonus, in office full time (but the office is a 5 min walk), equity after a vesting period, 3 weeks vacation. This is a start up that just got a ton of seed money, role was created with me in mind, and in a booming industry but not exactly one I’m interested in.
My previous role was $105k plus a 10% bonus, 5 weeks vacation, benefits, etc. I don’t think I’ll get the 5 weeks back, that’s rare. But I think I could negotiate the $95k to $105k.
My issue is that I’ve never been in a position to negotiate salary - I was either a new grad, or had no experience so I just accepted any offer. Now I am relatively in demand, and have 2 solid offers in front of me. I would prefer job #1, as I value WFH, but I would be willing to walk to an office for 5 minutes a day to make $10k more per year.
How do I approach this? I don’t want to ruffle any feathers, but I don’t want to leave money on the table. Is going to job #1 asking for $105k enough for them to rescind the offer? My sister does all the hiring for a big PR agency and said her company has NEVER turned down a top candidate over $10k.

Both my husband and I were born oversees - England and Poland, respectively. My parents were born in Poland, move to US, and I became a citizen when I was 3 after my mom got her citizenship. My husband, however, was born in England because the base hospital was full so he ended up with citizenship. His was renounced when he turned 18. I, however, do not recall ever getting anything regarding my citizenship; I had a Polish passport until it expired, but I'm not sure at what age.
Is it possible for one, or both, of us to get our dual citizenship back? I'm not sure how yo go about the process, or even how to check to see if i still somehow have citizenship.

You may be aware that I have loudly proclaimed that American University has the distinction of being the last winless D1 team this season, after an exciting Saturday where Le Moyne and New Orleans both pulled off overtime wins to get their firsts.
But this is only *partially* correct for a given value of "winless". To be *technically* correct (the best kind of correct), we must consider that to call a D1 team winless, beating non-divisional teams is an asterisk of sorts that really shouldn't disqualify them from the title.
Therefore, let's look at the full list of teams who continue to have not beaten a D1 school:
- American University - 0-17
- Closest near-miss - a 3-point loss to Fairleigh Dickenson at the start of the year.
- Notable loss - 1.13.25, got doubled up on by 6-10 Loyola-Maryland, losing 77-38.
- Likely outlook for wins - none. There are few remaining chances in the Patriot League to get a win; Lafayette series and Loyola-Maryland return visits are the best chances but (see notable loss) don't seem like a strong possibility.
- Arkansas-Pine Bluff - 2*-13 (wins over NAIAs Texas A&M-Texarkana and Arkansas Baptist)
- Closest near-miss - took both Loyola-Marymount & Cal State Northridge to overtime but lost by 3.
- Notable loss - nearly pulled off a huge upset 12.21.24 against Washington, losing only by 4
- Has a good chance of getting a win, maybe as many as five. The SWAC is not particularly strong, with almost all the schools going winless or nearly-winless out-of-conference. With 13 games to go, I suspect they'll sneak at least a few conference wins out.
- Cal State Fullerton - 2*-16 (wins over D3 Chapman and NAIA Bethesda)
- Closest near-miss - gave up a 7 point lead starting the 4th Q against Tulsa to lose by 3.
- Notable loss(es) - lost to Hawaii 12.6.24 by 41 - only scored 15 points total.
- Unlikely to get more than 2 wins. Best remaining chances are 3 games with fellow Cal State Northridge (2 wins overall, barely lost in overtime in first game) and Bakersfield (1 win, beat Northridge to escape purgatory).
- Delaware State - 3*-14 (wins over D2 Bloomfield and Georgian Court, and D3 Cheyney)
- Closest near-miss - 2-point overtime loss to Long Island University.
- Notable loss - nearly got tripled up on in a 73-26 loss to *THE* University of Delaware
- Again, a weak MEAC schedule promises some opportunities - I don't expect them to get more than 2 or 3 wins but I think they can do so, recent games against the bottom of the conference are more like 2 possession losses than 20 points.
- Niagara - 1*-14 (win over D2 Bloomsburg)
- Closest near-miss - None. 8 point losses against St. Bonaventure and Siena back-to-back is the best they've managed.
- Notable loss(es) - They may not have gotten a win but I'm sure they made OOC PAYOLA by staring the season 0-4 as away team against Syracuse, West Virginia, Penn State, and Duquesne, all of whom dropped 100+ on the Purple Eagles.
- Horrible resume aside, with some very weak MAAC teams still to be played (I'm looking at you Canisisus), they may sneak one out, though they did already drop a 20 point loss to 3-win Rider.
- UNC-Asheville - 2*-16 (wins over D3s Warren Wilson and Brevard)
- Closest near-miss - lost in overtime to Tennessee State, and very close calls against a few others in the past couple weeks.
- Notable loss - Gave up 95 to 11-5 Longwood in a 44-point loss. Otherwise, none of the losses really stand out as shocking or absurd margins.
- Would not be surprised to see them win a few games with most of the weaker teams in the Big South yet to come up.
