2025.01.22 23:10 AprilSilver4th Is It Just Me Or Gunplay Really Sucks?
Dont get me wrong long time Operation Flashpoint and ArmA fan, bought Reforger straight on May 20, 2022, played it to the death, but despite Reforger Project Lead Klamacz that "Gunplay is smoother than A3, frames are better, gun handling is more snappy" it is still rather extremely clunky.
And I mean like, no sight misalignment, no recoil pattern, weapon RPM is tied to the server somehow (should be client side), you just sort of hold down fire button and hope for the best because hitreg is still awful, lot of running around in CQB hoping for the best outcome. And fluctuations in game's fps make it all so much worse.
I have RTX 2060 Super, i7 12700k, 32GB GDDR5 RAM on 980 Pro SSD and I still struggle to go above 35fps on average in public server. Even if I keep settings low where possible according to Reforger settings FAQ, I still cant get nice feel to weapons unless I play on lowest settings where its possible to reach 60fps.
Anyone feels the same with their struggle to enjoy gunplay?

I need some actual genuine advice. I have a friend that I've not known for long, maybe about a year, but mainly the summer. I absolutely despise her boyfriend, he's just not a good person overall. For example, while she was studying abroad, he was whining to my brother & friends, he doesn't "give him enough sex" and "contemplating" breaking up with her because of it.
While she was also abroad, he would flirt with girls at the gym, as young as 17-19. Then on top of it, brag about all the Starbucks baristas at his job, being cute, etc. This led to another guy at the gym literally telling him: "that's no good man" -- BECAUSE he has a girlfriend.
Then one girl at the gym, her being 19, he on Instagram liked photos of her, and this chick is posing sultry. Braless crop top, and thin pants, arching. So even with his girlfriend back, he still on the low lusts after girls. Then while she was at home sick in bed, trying to score a party invite and tongue wagging over my brother's mutual friend, who also has a boyfriend.
This guy also clearly has issues on the low, because he spread some ridiculous rumour that my brother is gay, and this is before I even knew the guy, and they were "friends" and you could just tell he was jealous of my brother, making comments about my brothers jawline, his gf, etc (I think he wanted his gf).
These guys also betrayed my brother and I, showcasing how much of a snake he is.
I just don't know if I should "ever" tell her?
Remove myself out of her life completely, like block her from my stories, and never reach out again, as she rarely reaches out to me (he, and them, the evil trio, evidently brainwashed her). Wait for the day to come, "if" she ever asks (if they ever breakup, mind you they argue EVERY day) letting time be the ultimate truth teller (that's IF he ever breaks up with her), and then tell her...
OR ... IF she ever asks why my brother and I removed these losers out of our lives, tell her? Mind you they once broke up when they were 19, and he told my brother he only got back together with her cause he felt bad cause she kept crying.

So I moved into this apartment and it’s pretty small. There’s no place to put a kitchen table even. The separation of the kitchen and living room is open so it’s not a closed wall but a bar to put stools. Problem is litter box. I have one of those cabinet litter box hiders so it doesn’t look bad wherever I put it. I just can’t figure out the best arrangement. Please help! My living room has a book shelf, couch, coffee table, tv with stand (mounting tv wouldn’t help as I have my gaming systems anyway) and 2 lamps. Plus the litter cabinet. How would you set that up?
