Hey all, I have a work from home job, and after having to wear a suit for the last decade, its been a welcome reprieve. BUT I have to travel for a high end week with clients and have been advised that some events are business casual and some are cocktail attire. I have to start from the ground up here. Whats cool for an in shape 40 year old? I usually wear AG jeans, and I love fjallraven, Patagonia, and Topo Designs stuff. How can I keep the look in a way that fits this corporate vibe, but still keeps my outdoorsy aesthetic?

I’m 20 M, unemployed and have just gone through the most horrid breakup with my ex. I’ve smoked weed pretty much every day for the past two years, and i’m getting pissed off with that. I tried university and ended up dropping out, but now i’m rethinking that decision, the only credible thing i can thing of that i’ve completed is travelling the US for a few months and it just feels like i’m turning into a waster.
I know there’s a few things there, so i’ll start with the breakup, we broke up nearly three months ago, and we dated for three years, from, 17-20, and i was (currently still am but less so) devastated, so my mental health over the winter has been crap, as well as all of our anniversaries and stuff being over the winter period. I’m just struggling to move on, i know it’s a process and it takes a while, but i’ve never had to get over someone like this before and i don’t even know how to approach it. I’ve definitely improved, got a better routine, returned/ threw out everything that reminds me and trying to get out the house and do more stuff, but any other tips would be useful!
Idk what to do about employment either, i have ADHD, and i’m not blaming that, but i tend to stick at a job for a month or two and get really burned out and then hate it, it happened when i was a lifeguard and when i tried to work at a theme park. I think what i struggle with is personal time and work balance because i absolutely adore being on my own time and doing my own thing but as i have gotten older i’ve realised i’m really driven to find a job i like, i want to do something that i like and i know that’s not really achievable as a first proper job, so i’m fine getting a filler job, but i want to at least mildly enjoy what i do in the meantime time whilst i save to go travelling again, so if anyone has any good recommendations for jobs or companies UK based companies please send them over.
i’m also reconsidering uni, because now i realise i want a career, in a field i’m interested in i’ve been debating whether or not too, and to go back in with a different approach. weed was a huge factor in dropping out, and i think it’s impacted me mentally, and i want to do something about it. The only thing is, i’ve never been a sober person, and i’m not going to be T-Total, but i do want to at least improve my relationship with weed, and even alcohol, and i think they key is getting to a better place, mentally, physically etc. so i guess i’m just looking for tips, people often end up figuring out there own ways and i’m not just looking for the magic answer from strangers on the internet because that’s not how it works but it would be so helpful if anyone has any advice. Apologies if this is a big ramble!

Hi everyone! I’m looking for advice on how to handle a situation with a makeup artist I was trying to hire for an upcoming shoot. I’m traveling across state for a baby moon in a few weeks and have a maternity photoshoot scheduled. I wanted someone to do my haimakeup to make it less stressful. I found a haiMUA on insta whose work I loved. She works for a salon who offers on site services as well as in-salon. The salon gets 5 star reviews.
I booked on their website for “on site haimakeup” and paid a $100 deposit. It showed she had open availability all day. However, I received an email sending the address for the salon. I was under the impression “on site” meant them traveling to you, so I DM’d her on insta last week to clarify. She told me she has a wedding that morning(didn’t show on their site), but that she thought she could make it in time to do mine since the area was close by. She asked me to send the hotel address after I booked.
I sent her the address last night and she told me she was going to look over her schedule today and would confirm with me when it gets closer to that month. My shoot is exactly a month from now.
I’m not feeling confident in it and am confused why I was able to pay a deposit if she’s uncertain she has availability. I’m wondering if this is normal? I’m feeling like I should message her and ask for a refund and make other plans so I’m not left scrambling, but I wanted to get some feedback to make sure I’m not being too rigid about it. Is this common?

I definitely notice my skin is aging. Fine lines in forehead and around eyes. Also noticeable texture of my pores. I thankfully don’t deal with acne very often. Anyone here have real life examples of using tretinoin in this way? Good and bad, I’ll take it all. I’ve been using an OTC form and have been pleased, but not 100% satisfied. My insurance covers generic forms. What the difference between the different names?

Hey I feel really weird posting this, but I just don’t know what is going on or if anyone has went through this too. I’m almost 20, and I’ve known I was a lesbian my entire life, I’m masc presenting, and I’ve only had crushes on women. I’ve hooked up w a couple of girls and most of the time it’s awesome. I do occasionally watch corn if I’m really in the mood. However, when I do watch, it’s never lesbian content, but mostly gay or straight content. I’m not entirely sure what it is but I really don’t care for lesbian content at all. You might be thinking that these are just early signs that I may be trans but I don’t really think so. When I was younger (elementary through middle school) I thought I thought heavily that I may be trans, but over the years that ship has definitely sailed… so idk maybe this is my body telling me that it hasn’t, but all I can say for sure is that I def don’t want any sexual or romantic relationships w a man. I bought a Glove80 a couple of months ago, hoping it would help with my RSI recovery, but I’m still struggling to adapt. The tilt of the keyboard has been really hard to adjust for a proper ergonomic position, and now my wrists and elbows have started flaring up because of bad positioning on both sides while typing.
I even bought a mount and the plates to try and make it more ergonomic, but my experience hasn’t been great so far. I think my mount might be part of the problem—it’s either not long enough, or the clamp doesn’t hold well. It was a huge investment, and now I’m questioning if I made the right decision or if I should’ve gone for a different keyboard that might’ve been cheaper and easier to adapt to.
- Has anyone else had a similar issue? I’m looking for advice on better adjustments or alternative setups to make it work.
- Can anyone recommend a better arm/mount/clamp? Ideally, something that can tilt the keyboard to any angle but still keep it closer to desk height for better alignment. Any help would be appreciated!

The only reason I ask is that the Spanish Google definition defines it as "especially" or "specifically?"
