I accepted a TJO for one position and honestly made it to almost the end with the FJO coming and then received a TJO for another position in a more ideal location offering more money and other incentives so I reached out to HR and the supervisor of position one explaining I’ll be declining the offer and moving forward with the other position instead.

Advise Needed Working on my first project. Never done anything that requires wiring, so apologies in advanced for the novice question. Any help is appreciated.
I have a breadboard with pin male to male only wires, and a 3 position switch.
How could I wire this switch with male to male cables on my breadboard. Or should I just get other type of wires for this switch?
I also got a rotary encoder, but that does have pins that fit on the board.

I was looking to upgrade my Rebel T7, and saw that the Canon 6D is an affordable option only costing me around $170 with a trade in. Is this a good deal, or is there another camera I got could get within a $500 range that would last better than the 6D.
I mainly take landscapes, and want a better camera than the T7 because if it's issues with weather sealing and ISO
My main lenses are the sigma 24-70mm F2.8 and canon 24mm F2.8

hi all, posting for a family member. Can an employer make you sign a return to work proposal without the WSIB involved, and before receiving a FAF?
In this case, there have been multiple medical appointments and work accommodations made that were leading up to a surgery (all with WSIB involvement). The surgery is scheduled tomorrow, but the employer pushed the employee to sign a contract today to return to work (under modifications) within 4 days of the surgery, "subject to change based on practitioner's completion of FAF". This is between the employer and employee, and the WSIB was not involved in this contract.
The employee will still be recovering from surgery (4 days is not enough recovery) and the employer has been known to "lose" documentation. Does the employee have to sign and then immediately after the surgery tomorrow renegotiate based on the FAF?

(WA) I live in a vintage 1920s building (nothing fancy, just old). In the bathroom, the showe bathtub and wall tiles are painted over entirely. Floor to ceiling, all of the tiling and enamel is covered in thick white paint. I thought this was weird and sad because it takes away from the charm of the building, but whatever. That's renting life. Didn't give it another thought until the paint started peeling one day (I think a dropped shampoo bottle may have cracked it). The paint on the bathtub started peeling and bubbling up to reveal enamel underneath.
I reached out to my PM about it about whether this warranted a maintenance request, and if I'd be allowed to peel the rest of the paint off of the bathtub and leave it bare instead. Unfortunately PM said that they had to repaint it, and worse, the repainting process causes fumes so bad that I would have to leave my apartment and stay elsewhere for 3 days while it's being painted. Wtf?
Now I'm concerned about what's in the paint. Does anyone know what sort of paint they may have used for this? Is it dangerous to bathe in a bathtub with this kind of paint? Any advice about how to proceed? I'm freaked out.

Not sure why FBX wont export correctly when I export my FBX file I can see that the roughness and normal map have been exported into the model but not the albedo. I've tried changing the path mode and even re baked on a new image texture thinking I messed something up while messing with it previously. Not sure what else to do any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is refinishing worth it? Hey folks,
I have this 2531.80 from 2006. It was recently serviced and is running perfectly. Cosmetically it’s a little rough around the edges, both figuratively and literally.
There’s a light scratch on the crystal around the 11 o’clock mark. It honestly isn’t even noticeable most of the time. Bezel insert is faded but that’s actually kind of cool. To get a new bezel and crystal, and have it refinished it would be around $500.
Some folks however are adamant about never having these watches refinished since it removes metal. I’ve also seen some refinished watches that look really good.
What do you think, have it refinished to looking new, or embrace the character?
