This goes for all platforms and for people of all beliefs. It gets kinda annoying seeing all of social media turning into this type of garbage.
For example, X. X has been a cespool for ages, even before Elon took it to a much worse place. But now with him there, it's turned into a place where a lot of people think they are owning the libs and really contributing towards actual discourse, when in reality they're just hateful trolls that contribute nothing of substance. You're not helping your delusional right wing goals by posting videos of a liberal crying.
Then we have a social media platform like Reddit. I think Reddit is filled with people who are (rightfully) upset at the current political climate. But I think so much of this anger and frustration is being used at wrong places. You're not really doing anything of significance posting the 500th pic of Trump looking old and funny. Everyone on here knows Trump is an old president with funny orange makeup.
I just think people feel like they're doing something productive for the good of society when in reality, it's just crap for reddit karma or twitter likes.
Btw i am NOT referring to the bans on X links, i am all for giving nazis zero platform. So good job with that.

Hi guys, looooong story short. I have various genetical issues that prevent me from love and relationships.
At the moment I'm doing all I can to not abandon my life, therapy, exercise all of that.
Mainly because my favorite game of all time it's going to get release on June of next year, (if Akihiro doesn't delay it again hahaha.)
But other than that videogame I have nothing to look forward to in life, so I was hoping that other men with a similar profile of old, lonely, single men could share their stories, on how they were able to find peace and happiness.
I don't want to get too dark, but usually people with my profile end up doing something very bad, I can't say it because of reddit but I think you get the idea.

Hello.. i'm new to the "create my own boards" electronics side. i am also a magician. i would like to make a "peek" device that is small enough to palm or fit inside a card box or other small area's. the ones that exist can be found by doing a search for peek devices and are really very expensive. my current skill level is basically python programming but when i say "programming" what i'm really saying is that i copy and paste allot of pre-existing scripts to build mame cabinets and console gamer setups including a piboy.
this ask seems like a big task and i am intimidated. that said, is arduino the best place to start? the object is to have a self built system that i can use to deceive audiences using magnets and NFC readers and any other dubious devices and send it to the hand held device or discreetly hidden screen. maybe incorporate a vibrator.. the electronics version not the lady pleaser type. although a peek at that might not be too bad. wink wink.. seriously though. this already exists but is way too expensive for what i think can be done really easily to somewhat easily with an arduino type bluetooth enabled system transmitting to a receiver with a color screen and said vibration indicator.
to be clear, i know this could be done with a smart watch.. not looking for that option because i believe that option will come naturally with the transmitter transmitting in bluetooth. there are just some things that can't be done discreetly using a smart watch shape. this has to have some decent distance capabilities. 20 feet ish.
i say this is a daunting project is because i also want to make an app for the phone and a watch to connect hence why i'm not looking for advice for phones or watches. the small color screen in the palm of my hand is what i'm looking for here?
completion goals would be a board with screen that i can pay to have made. they can solder the bits on or i can solder the bits on. optional would be an always open magnet detector for "which hand" type tricks in it as well or the ability to plug one in and use the device as a "thumper". sort of a swiss army knife object for mentalism. this is just an ask. it's better to keep it small.
thoughts? advice on where to start? cheapest rout? ideas? inspirations?

So here is my story, so I had a lot of saved bookmarks on my opera gx browser and some days ago my windows crashed because of some problem. I was logged in with my email but I downloaded it again logged in and it didn't transfer my saved bookmarks (they are pretty crucial for my long term career thats why its so important). Is there a way to somehow recover these or somehow contact opera gx support because it is pretty hard to reach them and couldn't find an email or anything what would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

Man, I NOT an Xfinity Mobile customer in any way. This happened at home on my iphone 12 for a week. These notifications saying install Xfinity Mobile ESIM. Finally, I just accepted it to see what would happned and a freaking 2nd line ESIM was installed for "cellular data"with an assigned phone number and everything. Who the hell is paying for this? Super strange...I checked it to see if it connected to the internet (yes it did). My wife called the number to see if it would ring my phone (yes it did). Super bizzare. I deleted the ESIM after 5 minutes but will be interested in seeing if the notifcation returns. Anyone else hear of this kind of craziness?

At first I was all fire and got the super family pack. Even got my fam to learn other languages like japanese and spanish.
But things changed very quickly.
I´m learning korean, and just entered section 1, unit 4. At section 1 unti 3 I was already so annoyed because I had the some 5 - 8 signs over and over and over again. How many times more do you want me to spell seoul and rieul? Than I get confused with words that are written "gat" and pronounced "gara" or "bak" that´s written "balk" - without explaining why they are different to what I just learned. And we are talking about the very start of the learning program.
Then I came to section 1 unit 4 and it wants me to translate words and build sentences. How about you teach me basic vocabulary first? Sure, I can always reveal the answer, but that´s not how I can learn things, if I just reveal the answer and click the right buttons to get to the next step.
All in all I had a lot of fun when I started some days ago, but now I´m very disappointed with duolingo and don´t want to go on because it killed my motivation
P.S. Not to mention that I tried the hardest and highest challenges for englisch (I´m not a native), and it was so incredibly underwhelming with questions in the likes of: "what can you read? a. newspaper b. baby c. plane" Like WTF? This is not learning material for 130 score
