Hello, I was given this watch as a gift from my fiancee. It belonged to her father, who passed away when she was young, so it carries a lot of sentimental value for her. Thus, I would like to know more about it. My searches have been unsuccessful in pinning down exactly this Hamilton model (possibly from the 70's). On the back, there's also a very subtle "4616" engraving towards the bottom, but I'm unsure as to whether that's the model number, movement identifier or whatnot.
Any information would be greatly appreciated!

2025.01.22 23:20 Independent_Wrap_673 Thoughts on subplots?
I had a subplot planned for my novel, but now I'm wondering if it should be included or left out to keep the plot tight. This is going to be a little vague so sorry in advance...
My MC is a police officer. While that's relevant to the overall story in terms of her character, the stakes if she messes up (her reputation and career), and a few other points, most of the main plot takes place in her personal time. I wanted to include her job more in the overall story though so it's not just "oh and btw, she's a cop."
I came up with an idea for a subplot where throughout the novel she has encounters with a specific individual. Her interactions with this individual will demonstrate her character arc throughout the novel (in how she views/treats certain members of the public). The subplot character is also what helps her realize the theme of the novel and "learn the lesson" she needs to learn. Her final interaction with this character comes in the "dark night of the soul" portion of the novel and seeing this character in a new light helps her realize what she needs to do.
This subplot character is tangential to the main plot, with this subplot running parallel to it. The character does play a big role in the MC's character arc, but not in the actual plot itself, if that makes sense.
Is it worth including this subplot? Or should I get rid of it and try to find a different way to develop my character's arc? If it's worth including it, any general tips on integrating subplots more into the main plot of a novel?

Hey, I'm new to this sub - correct me if I'm wrong about any of the rules/ my logic isn't correct here but I wanted to vent about how annoyingly arbitrary the gameplay feels with the rules regarding recruitment.
No matter how well the faithfuls play and no matter how well they do at hunting traitors, there will always be a perpetual number of traitors in the game, as there is always a recruitment when numbers of traitors diminish (with the exception that someone declines the offer). Although this doesn't give an advantage to any specific traitors, as when they get eliminated obvs they don't care if the traitors team wins from there, it still gives a disadvantage to the entire team of faithfuls who are, once they are down to two traitors, in a position where they will need to continuously vote off traitors until the final. Unlike in games like Werewolf/Mafia where, once all traitors are voted out, the game ends, there will ALWAYS be a final in the TV traitors and, once the faithfuls get down to two traitors, it seems like they are handed an impossible task to vote out a perpetual line of traitors until their numbers diminish.
I've tagged this post for UK traitors as its the only one I've seen, not sure if it works the same in the other countries. (please no spoilers for the others lol)

2025.01.22 23:20 AngleComprehensive16 Help with coconut milk ice cream. Need additives/gums to get more creamy?
Hi! I have been trying to make a creamy coconut milk based ice cream. I have been using full fat coconut milk, vanilla extract and monkfruit. While I am able to respin to get a decently smooth texture, the result feels more icy than creamy. This is perplexing to me as my zero fat protein powder and low fat almond milk mix ice cream is much creamier despite having much much less fat content. This makes me think it must be one of the additives in the protein powder that is making the mixture more creamy.
How can i make my coconut ice cream more creamy? Do I need to add something like guar gum? A different base mix? I have spun and respun, adding almond milk, until it is basically liquid so I don't think that is the problem.

2025.01.22 23:20 Qwurx Samsung galaxy A12 shuts off and restarts randomly
Galaxy A12 a few days ago started shutting off and restarting randomly. Mostly happens while screen is off. Also happens while in use but not as often. Sometimes it also shuts off while restarting itself. Restart times are not regular sometimes it restarts quick but other times it takes a while. Wifi and bluetooth turn of randomly and seemingly has cell service but internet doesnt work. Battery life is also very bad while before this started happening it was fine. Charger is hot while charging and it wasnt before. I need some sort of remedy until I get a new phone.

Confused how everyone is claiming Charlotte is 'playing a blinder'. She's resting on people's certainty on her faithfulness before she became a traitor. Tactically it remains to be seen whether her gamble pays off but I suspect it'll bite her in the backside as soon as Freddie realises he's been set-up. It's hardly subtle, Leanne has a notoriously big mouth and will out at breakfast and then Freddie will have the entire day to implicate Charlotte.
She's yet to come under any heat whatsoever since being a traitor, we really have no idea how she'll fare under questioning. And IMO she's actually a pretty poor actor. She's pretty shifty and visibly uncomfortable at times, she'll only be worse with people watching her.

2025.01.22 23:20 National-Entry-3964 Transmission blew up during test drive after engine replacement
Hi everyone, I have a 2012 Kia Sorento with 176,000 miles. We just got the engine replaced under recall. When the tech was test driving it after the replacement, the transmission blew and the car had to be towed back. They quoted me just shy of $4k after tax to get a new transmission.
I think the transmission went out because it's an AWD that we towed 40 miles on the highway with a tow rope (didn't know that was a bad idea at the time). My concern is that if the transmission blew because of that, is there a good chance that something else could have been damaged? I had them check the transfer case and rear differential fluid, and they said the fluid looks fine, just old. Could the front differential also be damaged? They didn't check that.
I would basically be paying $4k for a new engine and transmission altogether, so there's a chance the car would last us for another 10 years. I just worry something else could be damaged because of the way it was towed, and I'll be out $4k and a vehicle.
Any insight or advice is welcome!!

simplesmente enfrentamos um relacionamento conturbado, somos bem imaturos. mas as brigas nunca foram um problema p transar. o q acontece que é muito dificil podermos dormir juntos, em uma cama boa, podendo transar tranquilo sem se preocupar. eu to sozinha em casa a 2 noites e ontem quase implorei pra ele vir dormir comigo mas ele nitidamente não queria, acabamos brigando pq ele disse q ia gastar 10 reais com o uber para vir, sim isso mesmo. isso q eu levaria ele de volta pra casa de carro (só acho muito demais eu ter q ir buscar e levar, pq tb gasto gasolina), que ele iria jantar aqui cmg e ate almoçar, sempre faço tudo pra ele com mt amor, comida, lanchinho, bolo, tudo! enfim, fiquei mt triste. ele disse que n era do meu dinheiro e um monte de coisas sendo q ele viajou com a minha familia por uma semana, comeu de tudo do bom e do melhor ser dar 1 tostao, o único gasto dele foi a volta de blablacar e comidinhas de praia, que foram poucas! ele não passa necessidade mas a família dele é super disfuncional ent pequenas coisas q ele vê faltando PARA a casa, vai e compra e ai n sobra p outras coisas. (detalhe: ele mora em outra cidade p estudar e depende exclusivamente de auxilio pois os pais dele mesmo podendo ajudar, não mandam mais nada) estou muito magoada com isso, pq sempre que ele quer se ver, eu saio e vou, independente do dia nas férias! ele ate disse que era uma terça a noite. detalhe: nao temos nenhum compromisso, estamos de férias e estudamos em outra cidade. tem isso tb, ele vai voltar antes pra lá ent vamos ficar fevereiro todo sem nos ver. e sim, nunca podemos ficar juntos, ou dormir juntos confortavelmente mt menos transar sem se preocupar com barulho.
gente, questão financeira eu super entendo, mas ele podia sim, é só pq é miserável mesmo, nao está afundado em dividas nem nada do tipo, ele sempre compra tudo q precisa e o cartão dele sempre sai mais doq devia pq gasta com um milhão de lanche em ifood e outras coisas. nunca pedi nada, ele nunca pagou nada pra mim q fosse mais q 20 reais, e foram poucas vezes! sempre dividimos tudo!

As the title suggests, Spotfiy seems to have terminated my account with no email notice.
The email of my account wasn’t changed either— not that I know of, since there wasn’t an email regarding that as well.
Can someone help me? I have already paid for 2 months and support is not doing anything. They’re just telling me to subscribe to a new plan as if I didn’t lose money from the subscription already.
