My husbands grandma is potentially experiencing elderly abuse at the hands of her son. We’ve filed reports with the sheriff but they say they need to wait for a warrant to be approved before going to the property. We feel her life is in danger and cannot await a warrant. Are there ways to speed up this l process? We are concerned her life is on the line.
They are located in Oregon while we are in California so any advice would be helpful! We’ve also tried reaching out to social services of the country they are in but have had no luck.

Hello! I’m new to this sub, but I’ve been having a really bad time recently.
1 (18) am an oldest sister as well as leaders of many things. I also do a lot of hard academic work. This isn’t to brag, but for important context IMO. Recently, or maybe for years, I have felt incredibly angry as I will come home from all of these responsibilities to even more. Maybe I’d be less mad if I knew it was equally distributed to my siblings but SHOCKER it isn’t. This anger has been exacerbated due to a feeling that I face this outside at school as well. If I do not teach people everything, or take initiative for a project everyone wants, IT WILL NOT GET DONE. I do not know what to do but I am so sad and mad at the same time.
Why do I need to do things in order for them to get done? I want to be able to rely on anyone ESPECIALLY AN ADULT.

Fucks sake.
We're all streamers, I met this friend group over three years ago so when I met her who just started out streaming felt right to, we did get to the point where we sat down told eachother we had a crush things got in the way her last guy took her interest again etc, it was shortly after this I introduced her.
Few short weeks go on and we start to become rather distant, my friends are much bigger streamers (Me with 400 vs them with 600-1k etc) so I know she's talking to them, I see her often in their streams so I think nothing really of it but did raise a concern to her that it doesn't feel like we're that close anymore which she said it's not the case. Most of the friend group knew that I was talking to someone and had a crush on her, but the main guy also knows I still had some hope for "us".
The main guy in our friend group is honestly a super attractive guy; 6ft muscles beard car house charasmatic as hell you name it, he's the one that everyone gravitates to, and honestly is super sweet. I saw some beige flags early on when she said that they're super alike in how they think and feel, but thought nothing of it as she even said one time she doesnt' see why people obsess over him she just sees him as a chill dude. Most of the friend group is around 30's when she's still early 20's, I wouldn't say she's model levels of attractive but I've always found her cute.
Constantly though since she brings him up very, very often. We had a issue between this caused my another mutual friend twisting stuff so for most of November till late December we didn't talk, and if anything we weren't friends as I respected her asking for space over a issue I couldn't even defend myself over that turned out to be bullshit anyway. In this period her, this mutual friend, another friend and this guy organise as he's in a band playing a gig at New Years they all are going to go over there stay at his for a few days, I wasn't told at all as she specifically asked them not to as she wanted to tell me herself, which also didn't happen due to the other friend that twisted stuff openly talking about it.
We did meet up early January with two mutual friends which went okay, having not seen her in two months irl there was a bit of a awkward factor throughout the night but it went okay, the following week after work she did ask me out of the blue to go on a walk with her 1-1 to just hang out i suppose, we spoke about some things cleared the air had dinner etc smoked a bit it was fun, but the last time we did go on a walk together was early November where shortly before the issue arose she wanted to see if I was up for dating which I was, but then she started acting super distant not too long after, so I do think she was testing the waters.
Thing is though she is moving relatively soon like next week to his, Ive known about it since early December she got offered a job across the country where the main friend as he owns his house offered her a spare room to stay in till she can get her own place which I'm not against he's a swell guy, but not just from comments even how she is on chats I do believe she is very much into him, or someone very similar. The big kicker is though that I know he has feelings for another girl whos part of the friend group too, she confided in me that they are currently dating keeping it on the down low which made me a bit happier.
She told me earlier today though hence why I wanted to vent that she girl I like told her she feels lonely, my name came up in conversation where she said that she's "not into" me currently, which bothers me to a huge degree but I also have to keep reminding myself we're not that close, if anything if we're closer I'd absolutely have a better shot but I'm not as we barely speak these days unless it's on a stream, but also one of the main things that does bother me is I'm also not that desirable compared to him as he's the complete package.
One thing that bothers me the most though is the constant flip flop hot/cold, last week she joined me on stream where she made a comment that I won't be single "much longer" as she "feels that way", then talking about hips on girls being good love handles etc, even saving clips (short 30 second videos) from the stream of them, which just seems so bloody weird as again after that we've not spoken like at all aside from small things on a friends discord.
I will admit part of me still holds onto that what-if on dating her which I know I shouldn't, but just right now I just feel frustraited, I feel especially friend-wise that I'm putting in the effort for a friendship, and I legitimately feel so angry of this shit situation.
