On Christmas day, my son made a pointed (not angry, just observational) comment about something I was doing. I don't even remember what, just that I had a strong opinion about doing it correctly. "Mom, you know you're autistic, right?"
I mean, no? I have my suspicions, but...
I grew up in the 70s and 80s. No one was diagnosed. Even later, boys were diagnosed, but usually not girls. I can look back at various family members and realize that they'd have certainly met the diagnostic criteria for AuDHD. I might well also, but what good does that do now?
I'm 55. My life isn't perfect or anything, but I'm surviving. Is there any benefit to me to seek a diagnosis and treatment for what I've just come to think of as "normal for me?"
Do you have your own experience with learning that you're wired a little differently later in life?

Hi I'm turning 18 soon and am looking for my first car. I live in CT so it snows a decent amount here, so I would like an AWD or FWD drivetrain, as well as automatic transmission. Are there any fun cars I can get for under 30k used, and how would you define "fun". One of my friends recommended getting a V6 AWD Dodge Charger, but is that a sports /fun car, or just a normal car (like a Camry with a nicer design)?

My asus motherboard (b650a) is being recognized by icue, and it allowes me to "pick" rgb etc and edit it, however, there is 0 rgb lighting up. Does anyone know whats causing this, or how to fix it? (Asus pluggin is installed and my asus gpu rgb control works with icue)

LOL, just found out yesterday that a coordinator in my department is going for team leader. The same girl who has absolutely no skills regarding delegation or authority, spends her shifts openly flirting with another supervisor even though shes married, and has absolutely zero product knowledge, she works at a grocery store but doesnt even cook. But hey, she should lead the team. Yeah, thats gonna garner respect from your fellow coworkers, barely any of us respect her because she has a history of being inappropriate with other males in the department, but yeah, lets promote this person. I want to like my manager because hes a nice guy, but suggesting this girl for a promotion he's gotta be absolutely stupid. But you know, maybe if I just started flirting with my supervisors and taking concurrent vacations with them while my husband is away in the military, id get promotions too.

I got my first kit finally today. I’m 47, 210, 5’7” and GW is 145. I started with the injections right away I assume because I’m already taking Wellbutrin and Paxil. All the posts I read are about everyone starting on pills and I’m curious how many started with the shots? I just did my first shot. I was scared it would hurt, but used my stomach and I didn’t feel it. Just curious how the results differ if you don’t start on the pills first.

Isnt it odd that none of the BT Character models get shield options, despite being entirely based on knights? Marshal, Castellan, Emp’s Champ don’t. Brethren don’t either.
And none of the Leaders you would expect to be able to lead a set of Bladeguard Vets are able to, they can only be led by Bladeguard Ancient, Captain, Chaplain, Judiciar, or a Lieutenant. However, no equivalent rank BT model can. It’s just very odd that the guy who is literally the sword of the crusade can’t join up with some BG Vets, or Company Heroes for that matter.
Thoughts on why this is?
