So, this sounds rather paranoid, but I am concerned I may be being ghosted by my collaborators on a project.
I am an undergrad and joined a summer project. It went well, so we continued remotely through the fall. Last I met with my PI and another undergrad on the team, we were taking a break for the holiday and would resume in the next semester with the aim to write up our work and publish in a small journal, then dissolve the group.
The next semester is here now though, and I have not been contacted. My attempts to contact are also not being responded to.
Best case is both of them have decided it isn't worth working on any further and are ignoring communications. Worst case is I have been intentionally boxed out. Regardless of what the truth is, what sort of due diligence must I do on my part? Am I likely misreading something?
Some of my anxiousness comes from a bit of guilt. I had not been able to dedicate as much time as I intended on the project due to PhD applications, classes, and two other research projects with more urgent deadlines. It may be that they realized it's easier to just work without me, but we're so close to the end I'd like to see it through.

2025.01.22 23:00 McflySC87 Apartment Indoor Air quality
After the LA fires we decided to purchase an AirThings monitor to check the air quality indoors. I just started using it yesterday and it’s been really freaking me out. The CO2 and PM2.5 levels in the house are only “green” if we constantly have our windows open. If we cook (we have gas) or close windows they start creeping up to 1,600 for CO2s and even 200 for PMs. We have purifiers in every room and I just ordered more filters. In addition I asked the landlord to check the AC filters to make sure they’re not dirty. For context we live in a old-ish 2 story condo. We have a 4 month old daughter so I’ve been really spiraling about having green levels around her all the time but it seems unaittanable. I know it’s inevitable for them to dip when cooking (I also use the vent when I cook) but I wonder if anyone has any other tips. We also stopped using our humidifier in the nursery. Trying to do as much as I can for my kid but it’s getting overwhelming. Any tips on improving indoor apartment air quality would be great, thank you!!!

ik it's an 11 man game but has City really imploded without Rodri? I don't remember ever watching Pep w/o a dm, even before his City tenure. bro recycled Fernandinho so fast...tried same with Rodri and that backup fat fraud but Rodri stayed relevant, literally carrying City on his back last season with a lot of clutch goals/tackles/interceptions. I personally think his absence is the major reason City are this shitt. not injuries, not fatigue etc. I mean those other things count but I'm sorry, Rodri is simply indispensable atm.

I was just scrolling through the onoma online shop (roster in Germany where I got one decaf set from) and stumbled upon a sellout of remaining decaf sets (even for half the original price).
So if you did not get a set before the event because they were already sold out, it might be worth checking roasters in your country if they might also do a clearance of remaining sets which were held back in case of shipping problemes or such.

Hi everybody, I’m working on a little project to get a clone app on my phone to scam scammers. I side loaded a cash app clone, but it wants me to connect to a server. This is an app that should run offline and without one, so I was wondering how I would go about removing the server connection requirements from it. It’s outdated, so that’s why it won’t connect and I spent money on it sooo. I have a little bit of coding knowledge, but not enough 😭. Thank you!

2025.01.22 23:00 Defiant_Log8873 considering taking a break from dating- advice?
I'm desiring taking a break from dating because I genuinely just feel like I need to do some deep healing work. I know that it's not an excuse but recently my attachment style got triggered and it brought up some serious things I need to look at which is difficult because I've been in therapy for sooooo long and I just feel like I need to try different types of therapy and tools because I am STRUGGLING.
I don't agree with people avoiding relationships all of their life because they need to heal, but this season of my life I feel like I need it. I feel like I just subconsciously / consciously now, expect the person I'm with to save me, to fill a void that my abusive parent couldn't. I feel ashamed to admit this and even embarrassed because I've done so much work in therapy and I just can't shift this. I want to take a break to really focus on myself and I'm also not sure I ever want to go on dating apps again lol. Everyone says that when you stop looking things happen when you least expect it.
Idk how long to take a break for, maybe I'll know when I'm more "Ready" and available. I just feel like I'm not choosing the right people and need to take a break to get my mind more clear.
