Hello, I am a newish player to AOS and I was playing the other day with a person at my LGS and I activated my 10+ sacrament of blood prayer to give combat attacks +1 (along with its other benefits). I then activated orgy of Slaughter on a unit of witch Aelves with dual blades giving another +1 attack for a total of 5 attacks.
My opponent said that modifiers are capped at +1. I looked at the core rules after the fact and I read that the cap applies to saves, wounds, and hit rolls. But I didn't see anything about capping the number of attacks.
Was my original combo legit and able to give them 3+2=5 attacks or am I missing something in the core rules that prevents me from using this combo. Thank you!

Well, this will make progressing this install a bit more difficult. Box is a Soekris 4501 sporting an AMD Elan SoC that is effectively a fast 486DX4. Hey everyone, I want to share a story about something that happened to me recently. It made me think about why some lesbians seem to dislike straight men, while bi women are often more open and friendly.
It was at a party, and I was in a group conversation. Things were going fine, and the vibe was chill. At some point, the topic of relationships came up, and I made what I thought was an innocent comment. I said something like, “Why do lesbians hate straight guys so much?”
The reaction was immediate—and not what I expected. One of the women in the group, who I later found out was a lesbian, snapped at me: “Because straight guys don’t know how to mind their f**ing business.”*
I froze. I wasn’t trying to offend anyone, i am the one who supposed to react to her offence . I tried to explain myself " I’m just curious, that’s all” but she cut me off. “Curious? Try living your whole life being hit on by guys who don’t take no for an answer or treated like your sexuality is some kind of joke. Then maybe you’ll get it.”
I wanted to argue that I wasn’t that guy, that I wasn’t trying to be disrespectful. But then I stopped myself. She wasn’t just reacting to me she was reacting to a lifetime of experiences I couldn’t begin to understand so i just let her talk .
What surprised me was how another woman in the group, who I later found out was bi, handled it differently. She didn’t jump in to defend me or smooth things over—she just gave me this knowing look, like she could tell I was processing what just happened. Later, when we were alone, she said something like, “Now you know why some lesbians are like that. They’ve got their reasons, trust me.”
I still don’t think my question was meant to be harmful, but I understand now why it came across the way it did.
It also made me think about why bi women might approach things differently. Maybe it’s because they’ve had a mix of experiences with straight men—both good and bad—and they’re used to navigating that middle ground.

2025.01.23 00:04 MassiveAnacondaMan Should i play the day one patch of Outlast 2 or the latest one? Is it a big deal?
I know the first patch of the second game is pretty big deal in the community and most see it as the definitive version to play on, but excluding some small parts i don't see how its a big step up in dificulty.
Im asking this question because im currently grinding the Messiah trophy but im undecided if i should play it on the latest patch or i should search up how to get and play on the day one patch.
Most of the changes come down to excluding chases (not a big deal because chases aren't hard just annoying) and enemy placements which is the biggest reason in thinking of doing it on 1.00, there are a lot of placements that are a big deal like the cultist being out of the room in that big chase sequence in the begining and nick n laird appearing in different areas (also the scalled being awake after crucifixion.
At the same time, the lastest patch is harder in some small areas like during the mines and some other parts. Which one should i play?
