I just started surf fishing last summer after years of fresheater fishing. After every session, I rinse the rod and reel with freshwater. I’ve stored it with my braided line still on the spool. Braided line is expensive and I don’t want to take it off since I only went out a few times last summer so I feel like it would be a waste. I’m worried though if this will corrode my spool at all. Should I have left it on or taken it off?

I’m a 19-year-old female, and I need some advice about something weird that happened to me. Out of nowhere, I’ve developed these really intense bruises on the sides of my breasts. They’re dark purple, almost like a burst of blood under the skin. My boyfriend noticed them today, and now he’s suspicious, thinking I might have cheated on him or something.
The thing is, I didn’t do anything unusual! Yesterday, there were no marks at all, but today, during a normal day—just going for a walk, nothing else—they suddenly appeared. He doesn’t believe me when I say it just happened, and he insists bruises like that don’t show up for no reason.
But I genuinely have no idea how this happened. I’ve never had something like this before. Could it be a medical issue, or does anyone know why bruises like these might appear out of the blue? I’d really appreciate any tips or insights because I’m honestly worried now.

2025.01.23 01:22 Forsaken_Estimate_78 What should I do for college? Please offer your advice!
I'm an 18 yr old Private Pilot working on my Instrument rating, looking forward to a career as an airline pilot. I am in my second semester of college as a business major and Though I have no interest in business my parents want me to attend college so I have something to fall back on (idk how a business degree will help me much) and they preferably want me to do engineering but that would take up a lot of time (which would distract me from training), money. I have heard that a degree makes you more competive for the airlines. As of now I am very confused and stressed by the fact that if I were to lose my medical in the future, how would I be able to support me and my family.
I want to get a 4 year bachelors degree in aviation that pays well and I am willing to put in work for it. Something like becoming an Air Traffic Controller or an aviation mechanic (these are the only 2 that come to mind). I live in Houston, Tx so something that is nearby would be best. Any other ways or solutions that I should look into would be helpful as well so please offer your insight if you were to be in my position and what you took in college. Thanks.

I entered into a contract with a marketing/sales/SEO professional a few months ago. We just did not gel, and I gave notice to terminate.
In the interim and during our working relationship, this person sent me bills for services which I promptly paid. Things like "set up e-mail funnel" and "migrate marketing quiz responses to CRM." The last bill covered service up to and including December 28th. I thought I was paid up until then, and I am happy to pay for services rendered between December 28th and the day I gave notice to terminate in January.
Now that I have terminated the contract, they have sent me a bill for almost $20,000 which absolutely nickels and dimes everything done down to the penny. The kicker is, this bill seems to be retroactive? It includes literally everything they have done since we first got in contact, even for things I was not notified of nor gave authorization to be charged for (like "whatsapp message dated 11/20/2024" just as an example).
If this person wanted to charge me for these services, why not charge me in prior bills? Why is it only coming up now? Are they trying to scare me into paying by presenting a huge bill?
Beyond that, our contract states the following:
Services requested by the Corporation that are not directly tied to revenue growth, such as administrative setup, email configurations, and internal systems management, fall outside the primary scope of this Agreement. Such services will only be performed with mutual agreement and will be billed separately at a rate of [xxx] per hour, with the Corporation informed of estimated costs whenever possible.Shouldn't these charges have been estimated and presented to me? I'm actually worried this person might try and sue, especially because the contract puts the venue in his state which is across the country.

Hello. I had a litter of Piglets born on New Year's day. All were born healthy and happy. About a week later 2 of them started throwing up. I brought them into my house in hopes of keeping the other piglets from getting sick and a few days later they were both better. I returned them to the mom and then a day later one of them started having diarrhea. I brought him back inside and treated him with Pediatlyte and Pepto bismiol. He lost 2 of his 6 lbs but he finally stopped having diarrhea. I was keeping him in the house for 1 more day to make sure he was really doing better. He was walking around his pen and drinking milk from a bowl. Then he stopped using his back legs. He will use them to shuffle around the pen but will not walk. I thought maybe he was now constipated because he hadn't pooped. I gave him some laxatives and he pooped a few times but he isn't pooping regularly. Although he also isn't eating very much. Could constipation be causing my pigs problems, or is it something else?
