Hi guys!
I am a propsective student for Brown university and I have a question about the open curriculum. I understand the concept that students are allowed to freely choose the units that they want to study for each semester, but how does that work when you are selecting your majoconcentration?
Would a portion of the units that you select have to be related to the major?
Are there any requirements for selecting other units that aren't related to your major? For instance, could I select all of my other elective units as related to a specific subject?
If I was to choose something like mechanical engineering, would I need to have completed certain units beforehand to declare it as a majoconcentration?
Is the engineering school at brown good? Do you find the professors to be good at teaching or is it a mixed bag?

I’m a mantis main and people don’t appreciate her because her impact isn’t truly shown in the post-game stats, other than assists maybe. People will compare her healing stats to CnD or Rocket and conclude we are terrible at the game and should delete. I always need to remind people she is a SUPPORT, not a healer. I support my team in getting kills, staying alive in crucial moments and yes, healing. But if our second support can cover most of the healing I’d much rather boost our teams damage output than not use a useful ability.

I never thought I would have to make a post like this- and i’m so scared for my axolotl Mucku. I found him outside of his tank, and he was probably out there for a few hours (I last saw him in the morning). As soon as I saw him, I put him back in his tank and immediately got a tub ready for him. I gave him a tea bath with Indian almond extract I boiled with water (and obviously let cool), and did it for fifteen minutes. I put him into a tub with fresh conditioned water after his tea bath and added his bubbler in there to give some oxygenation. Is there anything else I can do for him?? He won’t eat either. His skin is really dehydrated and it’s peeling in the water- if there’s anything at all I can do please tell me!
Also, I already ordered egg crate on amazon for a lid. I have a lid, but it doesn’t fit with the bamboo in the tank.

I like Jenelle and I respect that Maddie and Caleb are trying to set her up for some kind of happiness post Kody. That being said, the idea of acreage terrifies me. I am a city girl with no experience in this kind of thing but I do have common sense.
When Jenelle said they had bought over 100 acres to do plants and events it blew my mind. I can’t personally even envision how large that is. Plus don’t you need to spend a ton of money on equipment, buildings, irrigation, the seeds or plants, and workers? Don’t you need to have some idea where to plant and when to water etc? Isn’t growing plants to sell like one of the hardest jobs out there? I mean, I work at a computer and send my little emails. I don’t think I could physically handle working outside all day.
I know some of y’all are country peeps or have experience with growing flowers at a scale where you can sell them, so what do you think?
