Ever since I can remember, I never liked being in a church. It wasn’t just a “ugh my mom is making me get up early for this 😭” it’s been always been a “why does everything feel off about these people and places?” Pushing 30 and I still feel this way. I’ve been to numerous churches of different denominations, and I always feel so weird in them. The people always seem so fake and like their genuine personality isn’t coming through. The mask people wear is very noticeable. Shoot, even the “change” and conversion some of them have seems to fade away as time passes, a lot of them just going through a Christian phase and then going right back to where they were before they started. Throughout my life, it’s the people that have gone to church on a weekly basis that seem to have been the most passive aggressive and unkind in the long run. I know there are some good ones as well but I’m just being anecdotal over here.
I love reading the Bible, Bible based books, praying (by myself) and consuming sermons on YouTube but I can’t bring myself to enjoy church for some reason. Anyone else feel this way? I’m trying to find an Orthodox Church, as it may offer a more mature and better environment that I might enjoy more but we’ll see.

Seeking advice for how much of a salary increase I should be expecting. I am currently an assistant controller for a mid-size automotive supplier in the mid-west. My current salary is $88k and I perform slightly above average in my career.
Previous experience: 1 year in public accounting in a top 10 accounting firm (in tax) -$55K 1 year in a financial analyst role for a large real estate company - $70K 1 year in current role as assistant controller - $88k
Quick backstory - for the last 3 months I have been working as an interim controller for a plant out of state. I fly in and out every week and now my maanger has informed me that I can be a full time controller back home. Given that this is an internal promotion, how much of a salary increase should I expect? The average controller salary for my company is $113k (high is $123k and the low is $100k). I am also a CPA.

Bike is at 60kkm, owner seems keen on maintenance. With all those upgrade this bike is definitely tracked. With all respect to cp3 reliability, Do you guys think unit is worth to check out?
