I (M27) went to school for health and safety after switching career paths. About a year ago, I landed my first job as a Health and Safety Coordinator for a construction company.
However, I quickly realized that the role was more focused on Project Coordination and QAQC, with only around 25% dedicated to health and safety. Currently, I'm split between the health and safety team and the operations team. Management has now decided I need to choose one and focus on it full-time.
I'm feeling uncertain about which direction to take. It’s a big decision and I’m wondering which would be better for my future? Any insight or help would be appreciated. Thank you!

I installed new white line bushings and put the washers back on and there doesn't seem to much thread on the nut after I torqued to spec (~50ft lbs) should I just run it without the washers so there would be more threaded into the nut? I just don't feel really comfortable with this much thread on.

2025.01.23 02:43 spirodarz 2003 Hyundai Elantra Shutting off and Auto revving Problems
Hi all,
I have a 2003 automatic Hyundai Elantra with a 2.0L 4 Cylinder engine with around 85,000km on the clock. Recently the car has been completely shutting off when driving and upon starting it also revving itself without touching any pedals.
I have taken it to Hyundai, they could not find any fault codes showing up in the system. Upon their recommendation we replaced the crank angle sensor. This did not fix it. Took it back, and this time cleaned the idle control valve, 3 days later after leaving it at the shop for them to test it, they claimed it was fixed but still to no avail upon driving today and it completely shutting off while driving.
Forums online suggest it could be the camshaft sensor but the Hyundai techs do not think so. I’m really at a loss here for how to proceed. I have the car with Hyundai now but haven’t done anything yet as nobody knows what the issue may be. Please any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi guys, i dont have a very potent gpu (gtx 960 2gb), do you have some graphical mods who enhance the graphics but dont affect too much the performance? (I tried comunnity shaders for a bit, but some of his addons decrease too much fps, like 60 to 45, i know its stable but i dont liked too much because the graphics stayed basicly the same but with less brightness, so i dont liked the loss on fps for minor changes).  | After reading all of the posts across the poppy subs about how difficult transplanting can be (and a personal strike rate of about 50%) I thought I’d put my mind to a solution for those of us who struggle to germinate consistently outdoors. The criteria I want to meet: Able to be done on a larger scale (100+ plants). Able to be done relatively quickly. Able to be done without disturbing the root system. And finally, as close to 100% strike rate after transplanting as possible. The solution as it stands: Home made newspaper pots with sufficient depth for the taproot during the seedling stage, thick enough wall on the pots to be able to survive consistent watering prior to transplanting BUT thin enough to break down once transplanted to soil. I’m going to run this trial over winter as I think this will aid in the pots breaking down, I’m hoping the roots penetrate the wall prior to spring. I’ll thin each pot out to the single strongest plant once they’ve established themselves a bit better, grow them out until they’re a decent size and then plop the whole thing into a pre-dug hole in my beds. I’ve had my MBP for over three years now. I got it when I was in college and have been very careful with it. Now I use it for personal work and hobbies as I have a separate work laptop. Is $100/year worth it? I know it might not seem very relevant since I use it lightly now and is well taken care of but I had the same thought about a year ago when I didn’t renew Apple care for my iPhone. Took such good care of it and suddenly gave out. I took it to the Apple Store, my carrier, and seemingly no one could explain what went wrong with it other than a “motherboard issue.” Since I no longer had Apple care there was nothing they could do and I had to pay full price. Anyone have experience on the longevity of MacBooks? Do they start malfunctioning after a certain time? This is MBP with M1 chip for reference.
