Recently found out that one of my husbands friends has been cheating on his wife. I told my husband that I want to tell her because this is f up. But he keeps on telling me to stay out of it and not get involved. I am not friends with the wife but I like her and she’s always super sweet when I see her and I don’t think she deserves it. My husband said that she knows that her husband does stuff and she’s ok with it so I asked him why you telling me not to tell her then if she’s so ok with it? If someone knew such info about my husband I would appreciate them telling me so I feel like I need to do something.

2025.01.23 02:45 VampireHunter93 Considering audio books.
With the recent craze of audio books, I’ve been considering branching out and giving it a try. From what I’ve seen on ACX, I’m looking at about $1800 for a finished audio book. That’s a lot of money to just drop up front for something I don’t know will be any more successful than what I’m already doing. And I have a 4 book completed series so it would be a lot all together.
I’ve been researching prices from other authors in my genre and see a wide range. At the low end, I’m looking to make $4 per sale, which would take a lot of sales to recoup my initial costs. At the high end, I’m looking at $9 per sale, but that’s comparing to much more successful authors so it’s unlikely. I don’t personally like audiobooks so I don’t know what others are willing to pay.
Has anyone taken the plunge and put out audiobooks? If so, has it been worth it? Looking back, would you have priced your books higher or lower to start than you did?

I haven’t gotten my card yet and shipping hasn’t updated. I’ve reached out to the seller quiet a few times but no response. I looked at their shipping from info and apparently they live in California. I know everything is absolutely dreadful there right now so I was thinking maybe they just can’t get to something like this when they should be worried about more urgent matters. I completely understand that and pray for their safety! That aside…this card is about quadrupled now. If you were me would you cancel or wait and hope the card comes eventually?
