Hi everyone,
I've been playing DBD mobile for almost a year before migrating to core, as you all know that mobile is soon to be closed. DBD mobile had already a pretty toxic community but it was fairly OK.
As I said, I migrated to core and so far, after a few days, the experience has been quite terrible. Not bad, terrible. Camping, slugging, humping, hitting on hook, insults, killers offering you hatch/gate to kill you right before the hand, sweaty killers willing to waste 20+ minutes to find the last two remaining, teabagging, clicking, emoting, people playing like their goddamn lives depend on it, teammates hiding, the ones hiding until first chase or giving up on hook, and so on, and so on...
To be fair, these issues were already present on mobile, I guess that's how the game is made. But by no means, the level of toxicity came close to what's going on on Core. A good 80% of all games have some of these toxic behaviors. Several time I just looked at my screen and thought : "This is not the game I liked" or "I'm just not having fun"
This may be because I'm still in low levels and solo queuing but I'm having a rather dreadful experience. I honestly don't know how people who are not familiar with how DBD is, newbie players, can cope more than 3 days playing this...

2025.01.23 03:31 RocketshipPoodle New controller help? Replaced faulty controller but have had mixed results.

Non tech player here. Maybe 2 year old Xbox series x user, controller gradually experiencing stuck drift. Fought it at first, but finally broke down and got a new controller today. Followed set up instructions and was able to connect fine. Played fallout 76 for my dailies, then a session of Valheim after dinner. Took a break and came back to anunresponsive controller. Shut the unit down, turned it back on with controller, input is detected. Manually shut down unit, use controller to turn unit back on, doesn’t recognize the controller. WTH I’m doing wrong?!

Very minor spoilers hense the warning.
So I got the game sometime 2022 or 2023 and about a week ago got to bc1, since then I've gotten symmetrical lance twice and observed that: 1. Slow, not that great damage wise, and also it's survival which generally has some of my least favourite mutations and items. However. 2. It's so stupid and crap it's fun to use and it feels awesome. Idk it's kinda like Casey in into the gungeon in that literally every other option I can think of off the top of my head is superior but it's kinda silly and feels cool so I love it. I was wondering what other people thought of the weapon plus if it's good and I'm just bad at video game.

Okay so first, a little back story. my mom (46F) was homeless for a bit right.it hurt but i (23F) JUST busted my ass to get a new place to myself & well she's grown. i'll admit i didn't didn't want her at my home. she's a narcissistic alcoholic. plus her boyfriend (22M) was sleeping in her car with her so i thought she'd be fine. i was working and called her one day to see how she was doing. conversation was okay she was high (tree) well then i start talking about my lil stink. and she goes " oh you still with that --" you know what that missing word is. well i stopped her and said don't you ever in your life say that again. i truly felt disrespected. she rushed to hang up i said i love you be safe and she clicked. i text her and said "I'm sorry if I upset you I didn't mean to I just don't like how you said that. I feel like You kinda disrespected both him and i." no responce. of course. HELLO SHES WITH A WHITE MAN WHO CLAIMS HES BLACK! she called me later that day, said her boyfriend got locked up blah blah i said okay you can go to my house. i didn't want her to sleep outside alone. she still my mom. well, FAST FORWARD to today, my now boyfriend moved in & she's been staying here since nov. she got a job real fast, cool. i'm just trying to help her back on her feet a little. well i just found out im pregnant a week ago. im having really bad heart burn and she goes " that's going to be one hairy ass ---" i don't even know what she said at the end but i know it wasn't anything sweet. then today i know this is really bad i've been really stressed so i was going to take a hit of her cigarette. as soon as i touched it it was so wet i said ewwwww and gave it back. mind you she been drinking.. she said " oh laughs did i (---- HARD R ) lip it " . i said why did you say that you really need to stop saying that. (it's so hard to confront her because she never sees faults in what she does or has done.) she ignored me. i said mom my baby is going to be half black. she didn't say anything for a sec and then said i know i shouldn't have said that im sorry. i went quiet. i started bringing up the first story i shared because i want to know why she thought it was okay. she says the n word more than my man!her lil bf was calling so she ignored me and got upset. okay so now , my thing is AITA if i tell her she needs to go within the next month? i haven't told him but i want my man to be comfortable in our home. & unfortunately i don't know if i want her to meet my baby... she says "shes not racist she's prejudice" please help
side note because i can imagine the comments / i know i shouldn't have even tried to take a puff & thank god for this happening because im never touching one again.

Je me suis fait tatouer le dessus de la main il y’a 5 jours, en même temps que certaines parties de mon bras. Ce sont des tattoos old-school, en noir avec des ombrages.
J’aurais souhaité avoir des retours d’expérience de ceux qui ce sont fait tatouer la main, et comment c’est déroulé leur cicatrisation ?
Ça me paraît bien plus long sur le dessus de la main, avec des petits craquelages sur les zones du tatouages, du à la sollicitation j’imagine de l’endroit. Mais je n’ai toujours aucune croûte de parties, comparé aux autres tatouages réalisé qui sont eux, déjà en stade bien avancé de cicatrisation.

I hate to be the (polar) bearer of bad news. I never wanted to be this person.
But I simply feel I have been told by god above what is in store for Peter Alonso and the New York Metropolitans and it would be almost an act of defiance to not tell others…
Today I went into my 3x2 walk-in closet (sorry to brag) to grab my fit for the day, as anyone does. What I saw would haunt me for the rest of the day.
Without any guidance by the human hand my Pete Alonso jersey has slipped off of its hanger and is only hanging by a thread. From proudly hanging to unimpressively just surviving. From 2-0 to swinging at strike 3 in the other batters box.
This is obviously a metaphor for Pete’s current situation. I will keep the group updated on the Jerseys activity as often as I can. Godspeed gentleman.

First, thank you for taking time out of your day to read through this post 🙂 and I hope that your day is treating you well.
I’m looking for some people to talk to throughout the day, sharing my random everyday thoughts and musings with. And it would be nice if we shared some similar hobbies and if we could watch movies or play games in our free time when possible.
I’m a homebody, and I’m pretty introverted, so besides work I don’t really like to go out much once I get home haha 😅.
Another thing you should know about me is I love to crack jokes and laugh, makes and share memes. Take one good look at my profile on here, hell even my pfp (no seriously! Go look and see 💀) and you’ll see that, unless you are Stevie Wonder or Ray Charles? (No?, okay I’ll step out now lmao 🤣) So if you have good memes or funny witty jokes throw em at me. I love a good laugh lol.
I enjoy watching everything from K-dramas, legal dramas, to anime, to movies, to chilling with a good book while snuggled up in a blanket 😌. I just love getting lost in a good story. It’s been a hot minute since I read a good book tho. I used to read alllllllll the time in high school. Never really been in a book club now that I think about it 🤔 but seems like it would be fun tho!
I listen to all kinds of music. It mostly depends on the song for me. I’ve really been enjoying Eminem’s latest album, I also like electronica, like Deadmau5, Skrillex and Louis the child. I like some alternative, some rock like AC/DC, Metallica, some Kpop, like IU, BTS, and other artist like Disclosure, Earth Wind & Fire, Ella Mai ect. Like I said, I literally listen to a bit of everything haha.
I enjoy gaming. I now have a new console in added to my gaming family. I just got a Wii, so now I have that, a PS5, and a Switch. The nostalgia hits hard playing my favorite old games again. I play a lot of Fortnite mostly, but I’m open to trying out new games as well. Looking forward to getting Mario kart for my Wii soon.
I also love playing board games! Everything from Monopoly to checkers to dominos to chess. It’s been ages since I had a game night with some friends.
I know a little bit of French but will probably never ever reach fluency haha 😆. Consistency is my kryptonite 🥲.
One last thing, I don’t by any means expect you to write a paragraph. Just a basic and brief intro with a general idea of who you are and whatnot will suffice. I don’t respond to messages that say “Hi” or similar stuff. Just letting you know in advance.

I expressed concern about some bizarre bleeding for a solid year. I told my doc at my annual pap that I was worried but now, it hurts when I have sex. He assured me we were doing all that we should and that it’s fine when it’s caught early, etc. 4 months later I had a chunky expelled from my body that caused me to hop on MyChart and try to schedule an appt with my doc. Then I saw the results from Sept 11. Atypical squamous epithelial cells. I called to schedule a colposcopy. While performing it (another month out Jan 15) he said that he’s only able to see about 10% of the area he needs but everything looks fine. Last night, I finally got the phone call with the results: CIN 3. If 10% looked fine and it yielded CIN, what’s that mean for my other 90%. I think people generally mean well when they're saying, "its not cancer," "this has a great prognosis." It's just a massive rollercoaster. It's hard to get excited or relieved when I feel like I was failed and I don't know how I could have advocated better for myself to not be in this position.
Does anyone else have a similar story? Did it remain as CIN 3? In your experience, did it escalate past CIN 3?

2025.01.23 03:31 EggoedAggro Tips and tricks survival mode?

So I played the first chapter of story mode and then transfered over to survival and chose the Frozen a lake region with trappers cabin.
At the time of making this post I have lasted 4 ish days, ran out of food, was attacked by a wolf so some of my clothes got destroyed. A bit lost as I’m trying to cure a deer skin and some other things so I can build stuff but its only around 20%.
I'll probable have to start over so any tips??

I did not receive the Master Yi Victorious Skin even though I finished spilt 3 in gold and had honor lvl 5. When I contacted Riot support, a Riot employee claimed my honor lvl was too low. This is not true, I had honor lvl 3 throughout split 2 (hence why I got Victorious Sona), and I maintained honor lvl 5 throughout split 3. I even have a screenshot of my profile 3 days before split 3 ends.
Any chance there’s another Riot employee viewing this subreddit that can help me out?
