I never thought of this until now, but I wonder if my Narc mother made me the target of her abuse because I am the spitting image of my father. Every one who has ever known my father or even seen a picture of him has told me we are twins. That I’m like the girl version of him both physically and personality wise. I have an older brother who objectively is the fuck up the family, but was deemed the golden child by my mother. Therefore, I endured most of the severe physical, emotional, verbal and psychological abuse throughout my life. One thing my mom likes to repeat often is “go live with your father if he’s so much better than me. You’re a fucking idiot just like him.” When I think about it, it explains a lot. But I try not to think about it for my own sake.

I'm a trans guy who discovered the name Reese recently, discovered it was popular in countries my ancestors are from (Ireland and Scotland) and assumed it was ok for me to use. But I've seen some people saying that it should be Rhys, not Reese, since Reese is English people "butchering the name." But I'm not Welsh (to my knowledge) so I don't want to use the name Rhys. Should I just pick a new one? I love Reese but I'd hate to appropriate a name that's not mine to use. Thanks<3

I will try to keep this brief but informative. Most importantly, I should probably note that I'm a chronic oversleeper, and if I'm not not oversleeping, then I'm most likely undersleeping. I had an adenotonsillectomy about 2 months ago. The doctor said my tonsils were bit oversized, but that my adenoids were about 2-3x a normal size. After I got surgery, weirdly, I started having night sweats that I could immediately notice after waking up from sleeping (even with a paper thin blanket) to the point where it felt like I wet the bed?! It stopped after 1-2 weeks. One of my most notable symptoms stopped, along with snoring and my struggle to breathe while on my stomach/side. I haven't noticed any difference in energy between before the surgery and after, even if I get a regular 9h of sleep. Is it possibly because I need to get a better sleep schedule, or something else?

We've all seen plenty videos of fiery red orbs moving erratically through the sky. Some can be explained as drones or planes, but others leave us scratching our heads. What makes them appear that way? I think this video might offer some valuable insight.
The video shows the creation of plasma as a high-powered laser ionizes the air with focused energy. What I find noteworthy is the striking resemblance between this laser-generated plasma and many of the orange/red orbs frequently reported by witnesses.
A plasma bubble would significantly alter the properties of air it comes into contact with, potentially explaining how UAPs appear to defy conventional aerodynamic principles. Observers often report abrupt changes in direction, hovering, or rapid acceleration—movements that could align with the behavior of an object surrounded by ionized air.
Plasma is a highly conductive state of matter, which could explain the frequent reports of electromagnetic disturbances during UAP sightings. Witness often describe disrupted electronics, radio interference, or sudden power outages in proximity to these orbs.
Ionization of air would enable observed behaviors and the appearance adds up.
Could plasma effects be at play in some UAP sightings?

Now that they’re served dinner, I feel like we’re missing important cooking bonding moments we got in the past. Like just seeing the cast work together was always fun in the past.
Cooking was important for both the friendships of the island and relationship building. Nothing says flirting like rolling up someone’s sleeve for them or helping them cut the radish or whatever.
