Yesterday, I shared my story about how my relationship changed after my diagnosis. It wasn’t easy to open up about how things went downhill, but it’s part of my journey, and I’ve accepted it. That relationship taught me a lot about love, support, and what it means when someone is truly ready to stand by you after being diagnosed with HIV.
One thing I’ve come to admire so much is reading stories in this subreddit from others about their partners who are willing to go the extra mile for them, those who take PrEP, who educate themselves, who see beyond the diagnosis and focus on the person they love. It’s incredible and inspiring to know that such people exist.
I think it’s such a blessing when someone chooses to take a medication daily, not for their own health, but for the love and trust they have for their partner. It shows a level of commitment and understanding that’s rare. When I read those stories, I can’t help but feel a mix of emotions 😅 hope for the future, admiration for those partners, and, honestly, a bit of sadness for how my own situation turned out.
In my last relationship, even though my partner was supportive in other ways like checking in on me, making sure I was okay, the intimacy we once had slowly faded. We couldn’t bridge that gap, and ultimately, it became platonic. It’s sad, but it’s also okay. Not everyone is ready to take that step, and it’s not necessarily anyone’s fault.
But for those who have partners who are willing to walk that path, I hope you realize how lucky you are. Love like that is rare and powerful. It’s a reminder that, even with the challenges we face, there’s always hope for something beautiful in the future. If you’ve found someone who sees you beyond the diagnosis, someone who stays by your side and goes the extra mile,,, cherish that. You are truly blessed. And for those of us still navigating this journey, let’s keep holding on to hope. The right people will show up when it’s time.

I’m not looking for advice, just to rant because I’m sure I’m not alone in this feeling. I, 23f, like to rave - I’m really into EDM and love being able to go to the shows and see my favorite artists. I went to a festival last month and was touched by men (that I knew and have raved with before!), with one of them being my friend’s bf who I really liked and respected up to that point. It was extremely uncomfortable and it kinda ruined raving and my perception of men - I’ve been on a whole man hating phase this past month!
I agreed to go to another show next month that I really wanted to go to with my 2 guy roommates and their friends (one other guy and one is gender-fluid). I really like my roommates and I feel safe around them + fortunate to live with men who respect me, my boundaries, and are just decent human beings. I had raved with them in the past and drank so much I got sick, but they even helped take care of me. But I’m having second thoughts about going to this show because I keep thinking about what happened last time. It’s really upsetting and unfair that I’m thinking about not going because of MEN. Why can’t it be the men (who are the problem) not going? Why do i, the victim, have to forego doing something I enjoy just to protect myself from men?

So for the past few days I have collected data on armored core PVP mechs. Specifically the ones that are being in the top 100 of rank over 3 days. I thought it would be a good representation of the current PvP meta in AC6. While it is no where near perfect as
A. the data doesn't represent what took these players to thier rank
B. the rankers may be using those ACs in other modes (3V3)
C. I did not include the specific builds (for privacy purposes and it took me an hour to make one row)
However this is the data I got.
