2025.01.23 07:13 Vharna Octapath Traveler 2 - Is a good idea to use a difficulty mod for my first playthrough?
I've been having a blast with my first playthrough of OT1. I'm just wrapping up everyone's Chapter 3 stories and I think I will probably be done with the game in a couple of weeks. I am absolutely getting the sequel the moment I wrap this playthrough up.
I'm trying to go into the sequel knowing as little as possible, but I've caught a few snippets of discussion. One thing I've seen a lot is how the sequel is a much easier game. OT1 certainly isn't a super challenging game, but it does have mechanics you actually need to engage.
So it is a good idea to use a mod on my first run? If so, which is recommended? Seems like New Dawn and Troubler are the the ones to look to.

I am brand, brand new to investing. Right now, my focus is on paying down my debts, but I am able to spare about $50 a week into investing right now (not much, I know, but I’ll get there). I have the invest (with round-ups at 2x) and the later account open, any advice on how I should split that $50 weekly? If I’m understanding things correctly, it seems like it would be wise to put more of it towards the “later” account, so I was thinking doing $35 to the later and $15 towards the invest account, but I’m open to ideas.

Hey, I’m from Delhi and have been working with the MERN stack for the past four months. However, I feel like my learning has stagnated, and I’m looking for an internship at a startup where I can break and rebuild things.
I’m not expecting a high salary at the start, but something that allows me to sustain myself would be great. I understand that I’m still in my learning phase, so I don’t want to be unreasonable about compensation.

Ciao ragazzi. Scusatemi tanto se la domanda è stata già posta. Sono un dipendente pubblico, lavoro per un'Università con contratto a tempo indeterminato. Il lavoro tutto ok, ma dato che alcune volte durante l'anno facciamo fatica con affitto, bollette, condominio, ecc, volevo capire come funziona il discorso di fare un'attività al di là dell'orario lavorativo mentre si lavora con la PA. Alcuni colleghi, parlandone al volo, mi hanno detto che in pratica non si può fare, perché tu sottoscrivi un patto di esclusività con la PA per la quale lavori. Ma se uno proviene da un background povero (purtroppo non ho avuto un passato stabile per X motivi) e non ha mai avuto niente e vuole mettersi da parte qualcosa di extra in maniera pulita e legale (ho una skill che volevo sfruttare offrendo dei servizi), come deve comportarsi? Mettiamo caso io voglia aprire una PI o se esistono altri strumenti che io adesso non conosco, devo parlarne con l'Amministrazione? Alcuni colleghi mi hanno detto che si può fare solo mettendosi part-time, ma con l'introito del part-time io a malapena ci pagherei l'affitto, poi come faccio? :D Al di là del fatto che la trovo un'assurdità questa cosa dell'esclusività (sincero, non ne avevo idea), voi sapresti dirmi qualcosa a riguardo? Almeno per capire come muovermi, perché nella mia cerchia di amici e parenti nessuno sa niente perché nessuno lavora in PA e chi fa queste cose extra le fa in nero, cosa che io vorrei evitare.
