I’ve posted about a Yeti hanging around where I live, and I have definitely spotted a kodiaq once or twice in New York City. I’ve only gotten a picture of the yeti with British license plates. I am sure someone has mentioned this before, but I need confirmation that this television show isn't driving me insane.
Kasey mentions he was a Navy SEAL for ten years before returning to the Reservation to live at the start of the series.
Kasey is also in his late twenties. The wiki gives his birth year as 1990, making him 28 when the show starts. So we are supposed to believe that Kasey left, joined the Navy, completed basic training, applied for and was accepted to a 1+ long training for the Navy SEALS, completed it, and then was commissioned for active duty all before he turned 19? That feels...simply not possible.
And then! If he was supposed to ditch the ranch because he and Monica refused to break up and get an abortion, why isn't Tate much older? He should realistically be anywhere from 10 years old min to maybe 12/13 max. I'm not great at judging kids' ages, admittedly, but Tate seems much more like an early elementary schooler (5 to 8) than a kid about to transition to middle school.
Finally, even if Monica and Kasey got married literally the day after he left the ranch, he would have had a few months of basic where she couldn't follow him. Presumably she stayed on the Reservation? You're telling me that John Dutton - a dude who has no problem with murder, harassment, intimidation, etc. and the manpower and clout to do whatever he wants - just left Monica be? Just let her continue a pregnancy he was very much against completely in peace?
It drives me nuts because this would have been so easy to avoid with a) a master timeline / story outline or b) just say that John was just against Kasey's relationship or some other reason. He could have left at age 18/19/20, got married to Monica when he was finished training, and I don't know, have a honeymoon baby or something that would at least put Tate at 7 to 8 years old.

I just got off the train. I felt so exhausted and dehydrated from the ride that I had to stop at the water fountain for a minute.
Next thing I know there is a suitcase sitting right next to me. It looked familiar, but I don't think I brought any luggage on board. Funny thing is, the name tag has my exact hand writing on it, but the name doesn't ring a bell.
I would love to re-unite this luggage with the owner. Please let know if you lost your stuff.

i have "trauma" that is.reemerging now. its a gyat damn work conflict that is as old as time (my hire date). i just crafted a "lifeboat statment"(thats my invention for farting on a telcon and ha lnging up when things dont go my way and lead to lost contracts). butnreally, its pretty nasty and i advocate for people to call the C-suite if they dont disagree with me.
is that bad? am i speed runnig to homelessness and being fured/unhireable?
i do hate in a non-violent way the people on the other side of the table even though with all the money they get they f'ing suck. its a gleeful capitalist infighting of subsidiaries for chunks of meat.

Here in Winterfell, she was a striking figure, a foreigner with the blood of old Valyria, a dragon among wolves.
The castle was vast, its passages labyrinthine, with hidden doors and forgotten corners that spoke of centuries of secrets. Yet Baela's steps were deliberate, her path sure. The library of Winterfell had become her refuge on sleepless nights, a place of quiet and stillness where the weight of the day's worries might be left behind. Tonight, it called to her again.
When she reached the heavy oak door, she pressed her palm against it and pushed it open. A soft creak echoed briefly into the stillness beyond, followed by a rush of warmth. The library welcomed her with its familiar embrace; the earthy, timeworn scent of old parchment and leather-bound tomes, mingled with the faint tang of wax melting slowly on half-spent candles.
The space was not immense, but the shelves were filled to the brim with books far into the dim corners where the firelight did not reach. Shadows danced across the stone walls, cast by the flickering hearth that burned low at the room's center. The glow gave the room an air of enchantment, as if the stories and secrets housed within the books had come alive.
Baela moved silently, her slippers muffled against the ancient floor, as though she feared to disturb the spirits of the place. 2025.01.23 04:02 Miserable-Produce202 Isn't Dr Wheelo still insanely strong?
So I just managed beat a S rank player as a C rank player because my Dr Wheelo soloed his entire team after he beat all my other characters. This character literally destroys any character that has less 7 DP. Most people think that oh I just need a 7 DP character to beat the giant but thats not that case actually, if you win the vanish war (its bugged also) or have your unblockable super charge attack, Dr Wheelo can actually beat higher DP characters especially when you're comboing your charge attack and super rush attack and then you can go Sparking mode with ur skill or use barrier if you're getting spammed. TBH, in theory these giants can be countered, but most people just suck at playing against giant in general. Most people just fly up and spam ult to beat giants but this tactic doesn't work against Giants player that know what they are doing unless you're playing Goku with the giant Genki Dama. Anyway yea I just won 5 matches in a row with Dr Wheelo despite clearly being worse than them with "normal" characters.

30M I have been working for a GC for the past 10 years. The pay is good, and my job is pretty safe. The company is doing great. I think I’m going crazy. Part of me thinks I’m nuts for considering this.
Was and APM for a couple years. Worked my way up to PM, did that for a couple of years. Mostly working on large commercial buildings.
I have been an estimator for the same company for the last couple of years. Specializing mostly in structural steel, structural concrete, foundations. I also work on the odd apartment or office renovation from time to time, but I’d say my colleagues agree I’m stronger with the structural trades. I also enjoy it more myself.
I know im still pretty young, but I work hard and I think im pretty good for my age. I’m not lazy just feeling burnt out. Not really from the work just from the people. I don’t think I can deal with the psycho developers and corporate politics for much longer.
Does anyone out there older and much wiser than me have any advise on a future career move I could make that’s a little bit more chill?Looking for something where I would be able to apply my skill set and the knowledge I have acquired so I’m not necessarily starting over. I appreciate any input you may have.
