17 Lancer SEL. Purchased this OEM remote starter from a Mitsubishi dealership site, said this was compatible with my Lancer. I was able to successfully fol6low the install guide with the hardware, says it's for Lancers with CY0A engine model, mine is CY5A and has same wiring/connections.
When it comes to the portion of registering the fob, turning my car from off/lock to accessory mode 10 times kills the battery and doesn't work. So much so, I went and bought a new battery to see if that was this issue and still no dice. Any clue as to what I'm doing wrong?

2025.01.23 03:48 Jakekub How would you have felt if S2 E1 was the finale to Season 1?
I convinced one of my sisters to watch Arcane after raving about it so much, and we just finished season 1 yesterday. Her first words after watching the rocket get fired and the fade to black was "what the f*ck" - and I don't remember exactly what she said after, but it was a mix of negative emotions feeling unsatisfied with the season ending on that note.
We watched S2 E1 tonight and I asked her the question that I titled this post: How would you have felt if S2 E1 was the finale to season 1? And she said that she thinks it would have been a better finale and given more closure to a lot of characters rather than S1 E9 leaving so many things ambiguous.
By no means am I trying to say that the S1 finale was bad; I think it's amazing and was even better on a rewatch compared to my first time viewing it a few weeks before Season 2 came out. I just think it's an interesting idea to discuss. If Season 2 plays out exactly the same, but S2E1 is released as the finale to S1, we're left off with Vi joining the enforcers (reluctantly, I think), Caitlyn beginning her villain arc, Viktor "alive", and Jinx basically doesn't appear at all in S2E1 so it would still be left off ambiguous as to what happens to her similar to how E9 ends. (i uhh don't really know what to say about Jayce as the other main character here).
Would that be a satisfying end to season 1? Vi definitively joining the enforcers and verbally giving up on Powder? I kinda see a world where that's still a great cliffhanger to hypothetically end season 1 on while giving some more concrete closure to where characters stand. The biggest downsides I see to this would be the big fight at the speech doesn't feel like a finale worthy fight and the final clip of Singed at the end of S2E1 would need to be cut (probably).
I don't think my sister loved/understood Jinx sitting in the chair as a very satisfying climax to the sisters arc in season 1 but if S2E1 was the finale, it definitely draws those lines in the sand much clearer. Maybe I just need to try and explain more of the intricacies of Season 1 to her, but either way her very different view on Season 1's finale to mine got me thinking here.

Ive struggled with horrible school refusal since year 5-6 and is probably linked to the consistent bullying Ive dealt with for most years. Currently its the holidays but each week I get a stronger feeling of dread and suicidal thoughts whenever Im reminded of school approaching, these feelings are always present every year of school and are only getting worse. Atp its effecting my relationship with my parents who have to deal with my weekly meltdowns and I hate it alot. My Mother has been pushing me to drop out (which is not a bad idea as I have a solid plan for what I would do if I did) But I am also scared of making the wrong decision.
(Yes Im on anxiety meds aswell as vyvanse, Ive gone to many psychologists and I have an IEP)

I haven't opened a new card from a Mewtwo pack in a while, so I started to wonder if Mewtwo is even the best pack for me to open to get a new card. I started just by charting the number of cards I hadn't yet found in each pack, but that wasn't good enough for me, since cards have different chances to be pulled. Long story short, I made this https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BnU0G8VhMT-DyawxNJS-n9KeUEqWL0qAF4qa4S-Xvx8/edit?usp=sharing
Make a copy of this spreadsheet and fill out the checklists on each of the tabs with the cards you already own. The Mathematically Correct Pack tab will tell you what pack to pull from and what your chances are of receiving at least one new card, as well as which pack to pull from if you're hunting full art cards.
I am not a statistician, so I make no claim that the calculations are 100% correct, but I have done my best to account for all possibilities. Also, even if you know that Mewtwo is the best pack to open, it doesn't make you any more likely to pull the Gastly you're somehow still missing :(

I have court in 2 days for being on my phone while driving- i was at a light and i was checking the gps because i was in a rental car with no CarPlay, motorcycle cop pulled me over and i even asked for him to let me off with a warning. he goes “no but you were nice and cooperative with me so thank you” as if a thank you is gonna do me any good. i scheduled the court appearance in the hopes the cop doesn’t show up but im extremely nervous about the possibility that he will.

2025.01.23 03:48 sonofgildorluthien Started off 2025 by finishing Nier: Automata for the first time!
Bought it during the last day of Steam Winter Sale, just finished E ending maybe half an hour ago for a total of around 42 hours invested.
Wow. What a game. I have a feeling when I look back at my finished games list for 2025, this will be the best game I play regardless. Amazing story, investment in the characters, and I didn't even realize how much our three android friends quickly worked their way into my head and heart. I don't normally come away from a game feeling like that about the characters I play, even if the overall experience is in my top-tier.
I can't recommend this enough to anyone who might ask me later - "What's a good game to get?" Knowing what I know now, I would have actually paid full price for it.
It's the first game in a long time that I actually want to 100%. The world makes you want to go back to it. But I leave it for now with many thoughts to ponder that are presented through the narrative.

I enjoy roleplaying and creating in depth worlds/scenarios. Sometimes I will start one and it will go well for the first hour, maybe, and from there it devolves and the AI doesn't even remember the scenario or their characteristics. Either that or they immediately start trying to get freaky and won't stop even if I clear as day say NO. I don't know, I feel like I could really enjoy this app if there were ways to actually get it to work for more than 30 minutes lol.
