Upon the release of the video game's premiere trailer on May 15, 2024, the decision to feature Yasuke as a central character in the upcoming video game prompted criticism online.[27] Conservative critics and fans on social media reacted negatively to the inclusion of a Black samurai protagonist instead of an indigenous Japanese one, accusing Ubisoft of "going woke", or saying that Yasuke was "not a 'real' samurai."[28][27] Others noted that Ubisoft has never made a game with a male East Asian protagonist.Lol wtf.
The online backlash led to harassment and threats directed at the game developers, Laurence Russell of Wired likened the backlash to the Gamergate harassment campaign and the alt-right.[29][30] Ubisoft has defended their position on their choices for Yasuke in response to the criticism. Game director Charles Benoit said that Yasuke was chosen because players could discover Japan at the same time as Yasuke, "through his eyes, the eyes of a foreigner".
Gamers: "We want a Japanese guy to be main character of a game that features Japanese Samurai instead of a black guy"
Ubisoft: "You guys are alt-right crazies"
If they wanted a foreigner viewpoint, why not make the girl a foreigner instead of the guy? Why japanese girl and black guy?
It's plain racism and sexism. Then they try to gaslight saying wanting a japanese guy in a japanese game is alt-right?

Nagpapalit ako ng breakpad ng front wheel. nung inandar ko na to test parang nasasakal kahit di pa nakapreno. Ang init nya agad, pag binuhusan tubig nausok, wala pa 1 km tinakbo ko. binalik ko sa gumawa. Binleed ng konti tapos nirubber mallet, ok na daw. Nung tinry ko iangat at ikutin gulong, naiikot pero may resistance at di sya freewheel. Normal ba? Iniisip ko baka need lng numipis konti yung breakpad para lumapat ng tama. Or ipalinis ko na yung sa caliper mismo?

i have probably donated around 250 coins to my donation machine and i understand i unlock more items and upgrades the more money i donate, but if i blow up the machine to get more money in a run, will it deplete from my total money donated? the number goes down on the counter but i dont know if the game will actually save how much i’ve donated or not, like if i’ve donated 879 in total but have blown it up so much it only says 300, will i still unlock holy mantle???

I cannot remember any proper nouns, so here's just kind of a shotgun blast of the elements of the story I do remember. It is possible I've misremembered a couple of things, but hopefully there'll be enough for a positive ID anyway. * If I remember correctly, it's set in the '90s, in a small seaside town that sees seasonal tourism. * The main character is The Popular Girl at school and enjoying her senior year. She's raised by a single mother and is believed to be the illegitimate daughter of a movie star who came through town for a film shoot just before she was born, and iirc she writes letters to him? * She has a childhood friend who she has a massive crush on, and has often spent nights sleeping over in the same bed throughout their school years. However, it turns out she's straight, despite some experimentation together. * Pretty sure the first scene is midnight drunken cliff-diving after homecoming or prom or some other big school dance like that? * In the end, she runs off with a character who started out kinda seeming to be something of a background character before realizing that she was kinda her most loyal friend. She comes in at the start of that girl's shift at the shitty dinedonut shop/something like that when she's opening the store and is like "let's go away together" and they hop into her car and drive off.
