I am starting to finally undertake the task of labeling my collection. In asking around and looking at different collections I realized how much variation there is. I thought it would be beneficial for everyone here to see some different ideas for labels and what additional data you print on your labels. Is location, time of collection, and collector enough for you? Altitude? GPS? What do you print and what do you save for a database (barcode) ?
Any tips for formatting on the computer (excel, word, etc) would also be interesting.

All dead almost instantly, it was glorious, except for one lowly pawn. Now, me being the slaver I am, I can’t resist a prisoner. She had good stats too, so I released her. Not two hours after being released she soul bonded with my favorite colonist and caused a divorce. I considered imprisoning her again.
A tale as old as time, a 54 year old going for the young attractive 25 year old highmate. 😔

- Observatory deck at Shanghai Tower - China's tallest building
- Night Cruise down the Huangpu River
- Street breakfasts tasting (everything is carbs-dumplings, potstickers, crepes, noodles)
- Tea ceremony + tea tasting in a historic building in former French concession
- Mao-era art museum
- Shopping at wet markets + homecooking with local
- Chinese calligraphy with brushes
- Chinese watercolor painting
- Bike/e-bike up and down the Huangpu River (use ferries to cross!)
- Chinese massage (real massage there, nothing else...)
- English stand-up comedy by local comedian
- Shopping (cheap stuff, cool stuff - you cant find this bargain elsewhere in the world)
- Learn to make Chinese Incense (smells great and very zen experience)
- Stroll in a park and watch local people do stuff(dance, Taichi, parents setting up dates for their kids)

They switched Massie and Dylan's names to Margaux and Clémence (and I don't see why). It's funny, especially since Alicia and Kristen (which are also non-French names) stayed the same. Claire is actually a very common name in France, so it makes sense that they left it as it is.

Why is there absurd amounts of dangerous debris on I-17 all the time?!?!
My car is 3 this year, and so far I’ve already had to replace the windshield, a rear tire, and as of this last week officially caused almost 5K in damage to the undercarriage. Not to mention, she already needs new paint from all the minor cuts and scratches. I swear we should get a tax break for our poor cars having to suffer driving I-17.

2025.01.23 09:27 milomathmilo Using features that are non-null for only 40% of the data?
I'm working with a scientific dataset that is small and quite messy. I've worked to add as much extra info as possible by looking through papers where the data points are from, because those features are important conditions for the target variable, but they're not filled out for every row, nor can they be. For example, the dataset has 20 completely filled features, with ~500 rows, while 3 of the features have around maybe 150-200 entries filled in, and not for the same data points either.
They're important deciding factors for the target variable, but I can't figure out how to include them. Computational data augmentation won't be possible here as there's no certainty that the info would be even remotely close to the actual conditions present.
Is there a way to include this into any well known regression framework? Or any models thar are able to incorporate columns that have null values? Currently I've tried random foresta with the base data without extra features, and a feed forward neural network as well, but idk how to make use of the other info. Any help would be appreciated.

I have been playing competitive for about 1-2 weeks now and have thought it's been fairly good matches.
Hover around gold now and the matchmaking the last 1-2 says have just feeled horrible. I just had 6 games in a row where we could not get out of spawn.
Getting stomped is a huge understatement.
And sure, i have been on the stomping side as well, but that is not as painful for obvious reasons.
Coming from overwatch, i had so hoped for better matchmaking.

Can you EV train Pokémon in violet ? How does ev training work again last I delved into may have been emerald I think. I know defeating certain Pokémon give a point towards a certain stat and when you hit let’s say 10 points you will get one ev into that stat. I know now you use the picnic feature to get eggs are egg moves still available if so how could I check what moves can be passed on. Would the shiny boost from sandwiches also affect eggs or just wild? Is there a sandwich to get egg and shiny boost together

B. Com. graduate, CA Inter Group 1 qualified and have completed the Articleship, also cleared CFA Level 1, but nothing else.
Scored 83%ile in CAT (fucked up LRDI)
Scored 88.8%ile in XAT (fucked up QADI)
With practically no work ex and messed up acads, is there any chance of getting into good tier 2 colleges like GIM, TAPMI, IMI D, FORE D, IRMA?
GLIM C rules out since their minimum percentage (graduation) requirement is 60.
Is there any hope with my profile?
