I am 32, finishing school soon for IT support. It has been a long journey for me, and I hope that I go on to make lots of money but right now I am not. That's okay though right? Because we have to get to know each other first.

I work at a company who sell AWS services combined with managed offerings. Coming from a non-technical background (5+ years), I currently handle billing, BoQs, and solutioning (via the AWS pricing calculator). I am fresh MBA graduate (~6 months). I joined this company as a Management Trainee. I got this role as a Product executive as the team was looking to immediately find a replacement for someone who left the company. Having finished my CLF-02 certification, they took the bet with me. As of now, i have been doing a decent job and I am liking the role.
My company is a sales company selling tech/IT services. Iâve realized I donât want to pursue hardcore sales (cold calling, chasing targets). Instead, I want to transition into solutioning or business consulting within the AWS ecosystem. At 30, I do realise am a little late for this but i think its worth a shot. I wanted to have a 2-year plan to develop the technical and strategic skills needed to make this shift.

I went to buy my wife one of those aura rings and I saw on Facebook. They were selling a mirror ring which monitors your vitals in your health, etc. etc. it's supposed to be the new thing anyways I ordered it and it never came and Christmas was coming, so I bought my wife the original or a ring from target I tried to contact the company several times at least 10 and I've emailed them explaining the situation I would like to return the ring, but I can't get in contact with anybody and there's absolutely no phone number for the company. I don't know what my recourse is if there is any does anyone have any Ideas? What I could do? It was meant to be a Christmas present and I ordered it three weeks before Christmas they said it was 3 to 7 days delivery and it came a week after Christmas so almost a month.

A franchisee of fast-food outlet Domino's has been banned from hiring trainees or apprentices across a dozen pizza stores following what a workplace watchdog described as "serious breaches" of educational obligations to junior staff.
The investigation by the South Australian Skills Commission focused on the delivery of training to hundreds of junior staff across the 12 SA stores, with commissioner Cameron Baker warning that the practices he uncovered were common among fast-food operators.
"By putting someone through a traineeship you, as the employer, are able to employ them at a reduced wage rate," he said. "If we're talking about someone who's about 18 years of age, that's just under $15 an hour." According to both Mr Baker and the state government, franchisee Team Van Diemen SA Pty Ltd â which operates "over a quarter" of the Domino's stores in SA â was paying trainee wages without meeting its training obligations, as set out under the state's Skills Act.

I received my first acceptance out of eight grad programs today, and while Iâm excited, thereâs a problem with the decision timeline where Iâd like to gain some insight from the community. The program has rolling admissions, and their offer states that they want a response from me by February 15th. This is very early, and Iâm not sure I want to commit to attending the program before I hear back from the other programs whose admissions decisions come out later in February, March, and April. I also donât want to deny the offer in the off chance that it ends up being my only acceptance, what should I do here? The admissions offer also states that they expect students to honor a commitment, so Iâm not sure if i would be comfortable accepting the offer now and withdrawing later if thatâs frowned upon. Could I possibly ask for an extended decision deadline? Thanks.

i'm (f18) and my mom has never given me "the talk" about dating. she's never told me if it's okay with her or not. there have only been two times boys were even brought up: once in kindergarten when i had a little crush, and she yelled at me for it. the second time was in 10th grade when i went to get donuts with a male classmate after school, she got mad at me again but then called me "gay" when i told her it wasn't a date. (which doesn't even make sense, you would think me saying it wasn't a date would please her)
whenever boys aren't involved-like when i hang out with my girl friends-she accuses me of being gay. she's been doing this since forever and it's honestly confusing. she constantly complains about me "not liking men," (which isn't true at all? i'm 100% straight) but honestly i think she's projecting because people have said/assumed she was gay before.
so far i've been with my boyfriend for almost three months (we talked for three months before that). with valentine's day coming up, i don't want to keep making up excuses to spend time with him. i really want him to meet my family, but i'm scared of how my mom will react:(
any tips on how to tell her?!;!,! im extremely conflicted
